Dial-up friendly? Bah. Fuck'em (that is, those with dial-up). I personally have disdain for sites that are too simple just to appease the poor and/or unfortunate saps who must use dial-up for their computing needs. Sure, I can understand their situation, and how there are a variety of reasons for doing so, but that is no reason to make those who aren't stuck in 1997 suffer. It just kind of annoys me, you know what I mean?

Thing is, one's judgement is impaired while intoxicated, and might not use their common sense. They might come here and post anyhow. Thus, the best option would be not to use those abusive substances, although that is not always feasable.

There is more than one way to kill a thread. In fact, under normal circumstances, Banjo-Tooie hacking could simply be brushed-off as off-topic or impossible right now. Does anyone else use your computer? They might be doing it. You might have a virus or something as well. And what kind of sites do you visit? You might get it from those sites... Else, you might've gotten something very evil, and might have to bring out the big guns, such as HijackThis. It's kind of a last resort, though. Check around C:\Program Files for any obvious spyware folders. You might also have to remove obvious spyware programs with Add/Remove Programs.

Strange. I've never heard of such a thing before. You may have been victimized by an innocous program with some deadly DLLs. I don't know what else could've caused it. It may be a new breed of spyware and malware...all that I know is you did something (not necessarily knowingly) that caused it to happen. It's not like it's your fault, though. All that matters is that you manage to fix the issue in the end. I hope it doesn't come back.

Meanwhile, I'm having my own set of computer issues right now.

Super R.C. Pro AM. One of the games I've been more eager to finish - or more accurately, one of the ones I can remember the name of. I feel your pain, though. Some games I can only remember only by one or two elements of the game - for example, a Gameboy motorcycle game where you can do flips and stuff in mid-air and earn miniature versions of your bike that make you go faster. Some I can even only remember by the music or appearance of the cartridge. It's very annoying, trying to recall some of these.

1989: A Belgian teenager was killed by a crashing soviet MiG-23 fighter jet, which escaped from Poland on autopilot after the crew ejected over a false engine failure alarm.

I must admit though, that would be tragically hilarious to watch. Watching him get nailed by a falling airplane.

Yeah, well I was kind of being unserious both here and there - playfully playing along. I was considered the enemy at least one time before that - I believe in the March ACS, when Danielle was considered the underdog for getting second. But I'm obviously not the enemy all the time.

Hm? That's what I thought it was, but I was simply unable to get them to appear, no matter what I seemed to do with flips (causing me to think that it couldn't be what I was looking for). Perhaps I should give it another go...? It might be my emulator too - bgb is very fussy at times, especially when it comes to exceptions - that debugger just won't die. (other than that, I do like it though)

That's really only an issue for upper intermediate or advanced rom hackers, though. Nevertheless, there's really only one reason to use the SMAS+W ROM - to make one big megahack, that is, if you have the patience and skill.

So what's your point? I didn't ask you to judge me either, and yet you branded me a failure because of my opinion, which, many people I know share.
