It's kind of a habit of mine to use unusual, formal, or offbeat words in an otherwise casual sentence. It's typically the same words over and over, although in this case, it was one I had yet to use (often) before. I don't know why I do such things.

Wrong forum? At any rate, you shouldn't be so giddy. It looks as if it's going to insult the game as much (if not, more) than it's going to plug it. See: the boys becoming obese, fat, and getting acne, Randy Marsh's desperation to play the game in the previews, etc. At any rate, this has potential to be a very good episode (if not, it'll likely be a crappy one).

Funny though, I sort of expected them to do an episode revolving around the game, especially after I heard about how it was causing people to ruin their lives by playing it too much.

Sure - it's called Lmanedit. It is a full-fledged, graphical user interface editor that can edit almost every aspect of the game.

It's virtually impossible to create an internet phenomenon. It requiores you to set things up just right, and it's sort of hit and miss with the success. Like, next to no hits, several thousand misses.

Of course; I know about the plot, but the "I learned something today" may have something to do with not allowing games to control your life. If you look at some of the screen captures, you do see the boys obese and acne-faced from all their playing of WoW. The plot element of defeating the gamer is likely only one part of the episode - the message delivered by the episode is likely to be either the afformentioned lesson - or something about playing by the rules which degenerates into a punishment by their parents. You know what I'm saying? The boys will be playing the game, and be playing it a lot, but in the end, they'll likely learn not to take the game so seriously.

Hm, for some reason I never really liked that show. On another note, I also find it kind of upsetting that LOST being in the same timeslot as Justice caused the latter's ratings to be killed, potentially leading to the cancelation of the show. And Justice is a good show.

I am both shocked and appauled that the most important thing to do with any hack has not been said yet - plan. If you just go off and start making rooms or editing physics, there's bound to be issues late on. Why are you editing those rooms? Why are you editing those physics? You should at least get the preliminary planning down before you jump into it*. Otherwise, you'd end up with one big, inconsistant mess of a hack.

*Of course, fooling around to learn the ropes on how the editor works is an acceptable thing to do.

And that brings me to this question: why is it almost always femalizing? Why not malizing or editing to the third gender (or fourth) or anything like that? Sure, I remember incidents where that did happen, but why is it most often femalizing?

Personally, I believe TGWD is lying about creating that meme. It probably isn't true, and likely, it was merelya coincidence that it spread. It was unlikely his doing.

Yay for games from my childhood that I never actually finished. Funny too - as I never realized how stupid the AI in this game was at times. In particular, the car that just exploded was caught in a loop - it kept on spawning near the cone, turning around, turning around again after driving forth a bit, and crashing into the cone again and again and again. The other, offscreen car was equally helpless.

We're talking about electronic changing of genders, here. No mutilating the penis or constructing one involved. It's just as easy to change a guy to a girl here as it is to change a girl to a guy. So why have the majority of the changes be to the female gender?

What about apologizing for being drunk while drunk? I've seen, or at least heard of, that happening with some intoxicated people. It's not much, but...

Ah, I see. I supposed it makes a little sense, but nevertheless, I believe that all "letter/number/symbol before colon" emoticons look extremely awkward. There are few exceptions to this, of course, not nmaing any as they all escape my mind at the moment.

Funny Forte: I have GTA:LCS and like the theme song too. It is a good game too - although their limiting and even crippling of bulletproof cars is annoying (although I myself may be partially responsible for it because of my bulletproof car guide for GTA: SA, but it is unlikely)
