Nice. I knew about the glitch moves, but nobody has bothered to make a list of them. There was also one you could get on a Ditto that was unnamed and had the type "Cooltrainer". The method you have to use escapes me at the moment, however.

Uhh...because they're not a furry? I think that's a good enough answer.

Would you care to elaborate on that? If you're talking about a tournament style matchup, then no. That'd cramp this thread's style, G. Plus, it'd be anticlimatic, as the winner is often obvious right from the start *coughspring2004contestcough*.

1. Good (but aren't all intro screens?)
2. Why does this look familiar?
3. Heh, not bad. It could be de-squared, but other than that, cool. Gotta love your using flipped bridge tiles as a watergate.
4 (the most recent version). There should be a way to fix the BG. Looks all right otherwise.
5. I like it. Interesting level design.
6. Meh.
7. Good.
8 & 9. The level itself is good, and the change is a nice difference as well.

Use YY-CHR to draw the tiles. Take a GFX File, copy it into your ExGraphics directory, rename it properly and open it in YY-CHR. The graphics will look odd at first, but switch to SNES mode and all will be fine. After you're done, follow the instructions for using ExGFX.

Well, personally I think the SMB3 music is better, as its use is slightly more open. However, the castle musics and the cave music are crappy compared to SMW's versions. A good rule of thumb is that if you want a more happy mood in your hack, use SMW's tracks. If you want a darker theme, use SMB3's tracks. Keep in mind that the ending music with the SMB3 music gets messed up.

Understatement of the month. Google is going to out do Microsoft for control of the computer industry. Google is going to take over the world some day. And Google video has been around for a while, now.

Hm? I thought you used the duplicate Chargin' Chuck for Stony in SMO. I remember Sprite 88 being used like so, but if this turned out to be true, it would suck badly. Of course, I'm sure we've been in tighter spots than this when hacking the game, but that still leaves the question as to how we're going to get around this.

Well, you can let the hate flow through you, but you can't let the dislike flow through you. Therefore, it can be said that hate is a liquid or a gas, and dislike is a solid. Dislike for someone often has solid backing, but hating someone stereotypically has poor backing. In other words, it's unreasonable.

Hyperhacker, only traded Pokemon have that disobidience thing. Ones you've caught yourself will always obey you. It was probably just a poor choice of words on Nintendo's part. Oh, and Beedrill's Twinneedle sends Misty packing, but Bellsprout/Oddish/Ivysaur is good backup.

With the latest screenshot, you need to add a background. Making the palace Yellow wouldn't hurt either, but it's not important. Keep in mind that the expanding/contracting blocks are not solid for sprites. The mushrooms will fall right through. And if you have glowing things on your tiles, don't use Palette 6.

That's odd. Probably just a foggy memory on your account, though. I swear I "remember" once having a Charmander that started out with Scratch and Leer, and fighting a Chef on the SS Anne (who supposedly looked like a Sailor, except with a spatula). However, I now know that those were probably a dream or something.

Ah. I thought you used sprite 59. That works too, though. However, having a background is still important. Try putting it on layer 1, but be sure that everything looks right.

Actually, you have to be in Gameboy mode, not NES mode. Everything else is still the same, though.

Nope, you didn't need the right badge for the Surfboard. Also, there were two more glitch items. The BOULDERBADGE and the CASCADEBADGE. The latter allows you to throw a rock at any time. It also changes the music. The former allows you to use bait at any time. Another glitch item acted as an unlimited supply of Safari Balls that you could use outside of the Safari Zone. The last glitch item I can remember allowed you to access the Pokedex at any time, even in battle.

I believe it is called directional influence. Not only can it change how certain attacks come out, but like in this video, it can be used to recover. This makes much more of a difference than one might think at first, but in higher-level play, everything counts.

Only one I can remember offhand that isn't on there is that the item layed by Yoshi when he eats 10 berries is different depending on his color. But in any case, you can find all the differences in the FAQ at this page. That should be all you need to complete your list.

That fountain is just crazy, Thoughtless. Where DO you people get the patience to do that? Doesn't it freeze up for you? Or is it just my computer?

Then I have no idea. X_X My computer is very powerful, I have no clue what might be causing it to happen. It happens with some other things as well, such as Zelda Classic. Hell, yesterday, I was playing Ren and Stimpy: Stimpy's invention on Gens, and my computer locked up for no apparent reason. It never did anything like that before. Any ideas as to what might be happening?
