If I sit on the upstairs toilet for extended periods of time, my ENTIRE left leg goes to sleep if I don't keep moving it. I don't know why, and it doesn't happen on the downstairs one. I can best describe moving with it as having direct control over something not attached to your body. Walking with it is funny (think walking with a wobbly beam for a leg). I can bend it backwards quite a bit. It feels very unusual. Then the mass pins and needles rears its ugly head.

Happy Birthday SoNotNormal. Hope you have a great day today.

Wouldn't buying McDonalds for your birthday technically make you a fat fart? I mean, 18 isn't even close to old. As long as you're active enough, you'll never feel truly old.

What the hell was the point of the new Nintendo screen anyhow? I have not seen one person who cared about it, and even so, it was an incredibly stupid idea to begin with.

Oh, and as for the train in action, it looks very nice. The foreground scrolling is slightly slow, though. It should scroll very quickly.

Xkeeper, have you tried the Suneye method for lucid dreaming? It's said to have a 95%+ success rate. And the end result is sleep paralysis. I think it went something like this.

Step 1) Go to sleep for five hours. Set an alarm clock to wake you up.

Step 2) Stay awake for 20 minutes to an hour. Do not eat or drink anything. If possible, try to read things pertaining to lucid dreaming or astral projection to stay focused.

Step 3) Get back in bed. Lay in a comfortable position facing upwards with your hands to your sides.

Step 4) Close your eyes and look towards the middle of your forehead. It may be straining, but that's how it is supposed to be.

Step 5) Repeat a phrase indicating your intentions 15-30 times while still looking towards your forehead. For example, "I will have a lucid dream. I will remember everything that happens during this dream. I will be in full control of this dream."

Step 6) Relax your eyes and begin counting up from 1. Most people have trouble falling back asleep after being up and moving for 20 minutes after a long sleep.

That should be it. You will probably have a bunch of very fucked up dreams, and then you will have a lucid one (you'll know which one is lucid because it'll feel different from others). It's your choice as to what to do from there. Just keep in mind that when you wake up, you'll be paralyzed. After a few seconds, then you "feel" a rapid shaking. It's actually nothing, so there is no need to panic. Just relax let it subside, unless you want to astral project. I won't go into detail on that.

No need to waste your time. Most threads that get that many views have too many wasted views anyhow. The only difference between this one and the other notable big one (general project screenshots) is the level of intelligence in them.

Well, it's not on any particular website, I discovered it on a message board. I've never personally tried it, but there were many positive reports from many credible users. Looking into it, I found that it has a "cult following" of sorts on the internet. The original post on that message board follows.

The method I will be describing later has been said to have a 95%+ success rate. It was successful for me and is really no harm, so might as well try it. But first, let me get some other stuff out the way.

Disclaimer: I'm not claiming you'll actually project yourself into the real world or that it's even possible, this is strictly for entertainment purposes. I'm well aware this is probably nothing more than a trick of the mind, but I don't see anything wrong with that if it's all for fun. We aren't trying to cure a disease here. Also, any references to being in the real world from this point on can be interpretted as being in a world created by your mind very similar to the real world, in other words, your perception of the world.

Disclaimer2: I am not responsible for any psychological breakdowns which occur from this. Note that if you have heart problems or any serious medical conditions, you should not attempt this as I have no idea how this affects such things since breathing is apparently altered in doing this. Finally, I abstain from taking responsibility for you freaking out over the things you experience and feel.

(For those who don't care about background information, just skip to the section entitled "Method:" for the actual procedure.)

Definitions:

Lucid Dreaming(From Wikipedia) - Lucid dreaming is the conscious perception of one's state while dreaming, resulting in a much clearer ("lucid") experience and usually enabling direct control over the content of the dream.

Astral Projection(From Wikipedia) - Astral projection (or astral travel) is an interpretation of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) achieved either consciously or via lucid dreaming

Etheric Projection - Astral projection into the real world

Projector - The person in the form of their astral body which is a "projection" of either their physical body or their thoughts(Projectors can change their form at will, although others can easily see through such disguises)

Astral Plane - Different spiritual worlds. Kind of like dreams that anyone and everyone can enter.

Background: Firstly, Lucid Dreaming is something many of us have experienced. Essentially, it is a very clear dream, almost real. Often, the person has complete control of the dream. The method I am going to be describing later is a method of obtaining such a dream. But this method is also used to Astral Project. Astral Projection is a somewhat debated phenomenon which some discount as being simply a uncontrollable Lucid Dream. However, many say it is instead the process of leaving your body and traveling to another realm. These other realms are dreamlike, but like our world, they do not exist in one mind. Even further, some Projectors believe they can stay in our realm while projected and be somewhat of a ghost. Interactions are limited to seeing possibilities and giving others a sense that you were there. Of course, these are written off by many as to be false, simply. But, some people live and breath by it. The terms of astral travel are very complex: an astral cord connecting you to your body, emotions controlling every action you take immediately, emotions being expressed 100%(many cry and achieve extreme happiness in it), and of course other spirits. But that isn't why you're reading this. You want to know how and the rest will follow later.

To put some worries out of the way for weary projectors:
-You cannot lose your body. As said earlier, the astral cord connects your astral body to your regular body.
-Another person cannot steal your body. Though it has been said that if you give them permission, they can. Unsure of the validity of this
-If your astral cord is cut, you will not die. Actually, they say it can't be cut. Any tug will snap you back into your body and for some it is even invisible.

But... figuring out what is BS and what isn't is not the point of this. What we are looking for is entertainment, right? So take this as entertainment value and not super serious "I'm better than everyone because I can fly around Paris and Hell without leaving my bedroom"

Now onto the good part... the method

Method:

Caution: The end result of this method is sleep paralysis(the door to Astral Projection). This is, to many, a very scary phenomenon best described as mind awake, body asleep. As the description says, the body is asleep. It is unmovable. No matter how hard you try, you won't be able to move your body. This leads to many thinking they are dead and having a panic attack, which then leads to hallucinations. But knowing it will come will save you from such. I'm telling you right now, you WILL be paralyzed. Don't fear the inevitable, especially when it won't hurt you. When it happens, just relax and let it pass.

The Suneye method(as I've heard it) is pretty simple. As a precursor, the preceding day should not be stressful and you shouldn't have any appointments on the following day. This is to ensure stress free sleep. The sleep is not to be interrupted, so make sure you won't be. The day you are going to try it should be a normal day and you should go to sleep at a normal time.

1. Go to sleep for 5 hours. Set an alarm clock to wake you up.

2. Stay awake for 20 minutes to an hour. Don't eat or drink anything. It is recommended that you read some stuff concerning Lucid Dreaming/Astral projection(whichever is your focus of this) to stay focused

3. Get back in bed. Lay in a comfortable position facing upwards with your hands to your sides

4. Close your eyes and look towards the middle of your forehead(where some would describe to be the location of the third eye). This may be a little of a strain, but that's how it's supposed to be.

5. Repeat a phrase indicating your intentions 15-30 times while still looking towards your forehead. ex "I will have a lucid dream. I will remember everything that happens during this dream. I will be in full control of this dream." x 20.

6. Now relax your eyes and begin counting up from 1. This is to help you go to sleep. Many people find it hard to fall back to sleep after being up and moving for 20 minutes after such a long sleep.

And that's it! Now you will have some extremely fucked up dreams, likely. Finally, you'll have a lucid dream(you'll know because it will feel real/different from the others). You'll be in full control of this dream and can then choose whether you want to stay in dreamland or attempt Projection. Whatever you choose will have the same result eventually: You will "wake up"

When you wake up, you'll be paralyzed. This will last for a few seconds before you beging to feel a rapid shaking. DON'T PANIC! Your body isn't actually shaking, it's all in your head. If you don't wish to Project, let the shaking subside on it's own. If you do, you have to learn to control the "vibrations". It's hard to describe, but you have to get it to move like a wave through your body. Use your mind to guide it until it moves rhythmatically through your body. Then finally, you can use whatever your favorite method of exiting the body is. I recommend the simple swing method which involves you imagining you're at a known park on a known swing, swinging realistically. Keep swinging higher and higher until you reach the highest point. Swing once more and JUMP! If you're successfully, you'll jump right out of your body and into the astral world. Be careful as your emotions will immediately take control and send you wherever you desire. If you get scared and wish to return to your body, wiggle your big toe.

And that's that. Either you decided to Project or you allowed sleep paralysis to subside. Oh! And if you fuck up exiting/controlling the vibrations, you'll black out. This is common, so don't worry about it. It will just be like dreamless sleep.

Summary: This post describes a method for achieving entertainment in dreams/etc. If you just want to read the method, please scroll back up to the bolded section entitled "Method:"

Hmm...when I tried to find the "official" suneye method site, I found that it had been "eaten" by one of those stupid domain name registering adbots. Damn. I did manage to find a copy of the original site's contents here, so use that as a source.

There are lots of dots. Lots of dots, in knots. The dots infect humans, from Scotts to tots. Their skin rots. Their ass squats. Their blood never clots. They never again get the hots for anything but dots. So I'll play the slots: there are too many dots. I expect to be hit by pots. I expect to be zapped by watts. But I will build bots to fight the dots. Lots of bots. On yachts. They will fire shots at the dots. They will do battle in lots. They will do battle in cots and on plots. They will do battle in many spots. To acheive victory, and defeat the dots.
