Quebec's limit is 0.08, I'm pretty sure that's the same across the country.

Correct. Living in Canada as well, this also applies to me.

Wikipedia had South Korea's, which is really weird... basically you can get your license revoked if you're caught driving over the limit, but they won't arrest you unless you're at 0.30 or above on your first offense. GEEZ.

It's actually 0.36. And it's funny too. Because at that point, you usually lose consciousness. Hell, 0.36 can potentially be a LETHAL dose, although heavy drinkers can tolerate much more than that. At least they won't get any resistance from the prepetrator.

I actually haven't tried store-bought ice-cream. Well, except for Dairy Queen Blizzards, which are damn good. Among the ones you can buy in supermarkets and such, I prefer the kind found in boxes (not buckets). To me, that's usually a good sign that it tastes good.

Another thing: when I read the topic title, the first thing that came to mind was that one commercial for an ice cream machine for kids. You know, "I scream, you scream, we all scream for BASKIN ROBBINS' ICE CREAM MAKER!!!!!!!!!1111111111111" Is that wrong?

The first thing I thought after reading the thread was "Cold Stone? More like Stone Cold!" Is that also wrong?

I'll agree to an online internet games forum, but only if it isn't just about tournaments. It should be about playing games online together in general, from competitive to cooperative. Admit it: It'd be great to play TMNT Arcade or Sunset Riders online with four players. You know, just for fun.

craig3410, you're supposed to eat cereal with milk. It makes it a whole lot better, and softens up those "stale" marshmallows.

Lucky Charms is all right, as is Marshmallow Alpha-Bits. However, having marshmallows is in no way a necessity for making a good cereal. On another note, does anyone else here "eat around" the marshmallows while you chow down on the normal cereal, then eat all the marshmallows afterwards?

It somehow ends up tasting really nice, in my opinion.

Well, I guess there is indeed something wrong with me (in the eyes of you), then.

To give me a little credit, there aren't really any up where I live, except for Dairy Queen, which I already mentioned I tried. I think it's more hypocrisy than lies. i.e., some people are allowed to bypass the quality over quanity rule because they can change the rules. But it's hardly the worst kind of corruption you can have on a website. This is speaking from personal experience.

Umm...the post Cara Zeltina made didn't relate to the point at all. I was talking about words that have lol inside them, she went off on a rant about how using lol is pointless and that you should use smilies instead.

Think of it this way. The word cum is filtered to manjuice. Now, that's going to cause collateral damage, as words like cumulus, cucumber, circumstances and cumbersome are going to get messed up. Of course, that's just an example and would never actually happen, but the point remains. Filtering words that can show up in other words is going to cause problems.

That makes two of us. I remember three years back or so, everyone got a chance to weigh themselves in Science class. Among everyone in the class, I was the lightest.

Last time I weighed myself, I only weighed 114 pounds or so. Interesting too, considering I'm of average height, if not, slightly taller than average. I'm quite content with my metabolism, however. I wouldn't mind getting some meat on my bones, but I'm perfectly fine with my weight as it is.

In response to the topic title, yes. They do. However, after a string of them last week, I decided I wasn't going to take that shit anymore, and continued using my computer during thunderstorms anyhow.

I seem to have very good luck with them not knocking out the power as well, but even if they do...oh well.

I personally only have one of the ads blocked here. It was for website hosting or something; but I didn't pay too much attention to it.

It's not the one with the woman with the headset microphone, it's the other one. The reason why I blocked it is that there was this stupid woman on the ad. It was like she was staring into my heart...my soul.

I'd unblock it to go into more detail, but I don't want to look at that face again. Even though there are worse ads...meh.

I have all other ads unblocked, though. I also click said ads from time to time, although like 99% of people, nothing really interests me. I just click them for the horde.
