A bunch of little girls near where I live were freaking out over some harmless black ants on the sidewalk a few weeks ago. Someone took a bucket of water to them, or so I heard. Forget about watering the floors, though, that's ineffective. What you should do is pinpoint the location of the nest, get a bucket of boiling water and let it loose. Make sure it actually goes inside, and not just on it. You should be able to destroy the nest and kill the queen. Your troubles should hopefully be over shortly afterward.

Well, you know arrogant/ignorant people. Even if this was pointed out to his parents, I doubt they would listen anyhow, because they're just plain scared of insects, and are too lazy/stupid to change their ways. Besides, it's not exactly his house, and I think he'd have a hard time convincing them. I'm not one to make generalizations often, but just think about it. What would be their reaction if he were to say something like, "these guys on the internet told me ants disinfect things and they only are around if you leave food sources out where they can get them"? If you ask me, they'd probably just call us pedophiles and discredit the facts with ignorance or something like that.

I suspect there was palette work involved, but I agree with the part about removing them. The custom graphics were vastly superior to the original ones. The original ones are a little too bright. The custom ones have a more "stonish" look to them.

HyperHacker pretty much covered all my grievances on this screenshot. However, I don't like that background at all. It's far too plain for my liking. I don't particularly like the brown/blue block pattern, either. It looks to be annoying to get through, and is sort of straining on the eyes (and coming from me, someone who tends not to mind that kind of stuff, that's saying quite a bit). I suggest changing some of the blues in the screenshot (most notable the sky, which clashes with the blue bricks) to be darker blues.

Now, now, it's solely a person's opinion as to whether heaven exists or not. Even given that it does exist, there's the question of whether or not they will go to heaven.

This thread sure is going downhill fast. All the guy wants to know is how he can get rid of ants that are invading his home, and it turned into an argument about the morality of killing animals. This is the part where I'd make mention of red fire ants and ask you if you wouldn't kill those (and allow them to bite you into a coma, or to death). So, would you? If fire ants were invading your home, would you kill them, or just go about your normal business because killing them is wrong, and they don't know you don't like that? Or would you just move out for them?

Maybe you should've planned for this in advance? You could've timed the creation of it so that it would end on a day before you had a day off work. So you would have all day to count them. Unless the mosts are to be made on set days. Are they?

The suspense just killed you, huh? Ideally, you could've just gotten up to a certain point, planned out a well-thought out post in your head while you counted, made the 5000 post, and then continue with the mosts. I spent quite a bit of time planning out my (stealth) 2000th post. 5000 always would've been waiting for you. The mosts are somewhat forcefully guided by time constraints. Too late now, though. But in the long run, you would do both anyone. So the only thing to do now is wait (some more).

Good god...I'm not that bad at window management, but things can get pretty tight at times. I usually have a max of 18 windows open at the time. Any more would be unlikely, and even an amount in the mid teens would be highly circumstancal.

Keep in mind though, that the plaayer couldn't actually enter it after he got Yoshi up there, as you need to be small to enter a door two tiles high while on Yoshi.

Maybe if you were to stop using whatever method you use to get so many lucid dreams, you'd be entertained by them more?

I remember one dream I had where I was somehow immortal, and the universe was destroyed by a volcano amplifier or something. I was floating around in a void with a chicken and a streetlight for all eternity. That last part was the one that really was bizarre. There are more, but I'll save them for another post.
