Damn straight. Hell, almost anything out that time period is funny or interesting. Here is another example, a guide to hand-to-hand fighting. Just about every other direction is "knee him in the testicles" or "seize his testicles". The pictures are also fairly unusual. Check it out - but don't actually use this unless you have no honor (or are in a war and prefer to be living and dishonorable). It instructs you to fight dirty. Really dirty.

Oh yeah. One of those cartoons would send just about anything from this time period home when it comes to controversy. Der Fuehrer's Face comes to mind. Just about everything from back then used the N-Word and other slurs without remorse. But now, we're kind of at the other extreme: too much of it in some places. I heard that they censored "warrant" on MTV once. Which is ridiculous, considering they allow "menopause" on Cartoon Network. But...anyhow...

The point of the character system, or what you surely mean the rank system, is to give people something to shoot for on the board to encourage posting. Or something. Ironically, that encouragement is the reason many meet their "end" on the boards. Really, ranks are just there for fun. To add flavor to the boards. It just wouldn't be the same if it were just numbers.

In before he gives in and a bunch of people form a cliche and dominate the top of the list.

In other words, it'd be that one "group of friends" that has the high score, everyone else is way far behind. Or even worse - the teams would be unbalanced ("OMG OMG I WANT 2 BE ON THE BEST TEAM") It'd be more balanced if they were random - even moreso if it was semi-random (making adjustments as necessary).

For starters, you can't have over 200 levels without extensive ASM Hacking. The overworld only allows referencing 96 levels (coincidendly, the same as the number of goals). Second, in theory, yes. But as before, you can't do it without ASM Hacking.

And you cannot have a Vanilla Dome colored island on the overworld...without a little work. But you can work in a third color, like I did. Note that this sacrifices the green tint to mountain boarders on palette 5, but it looks fine without them (you'll have to use palette 7). It CAN be done.

Yes. But you only have to have one level name reserved for pipe names.

For your next question, no. If you're talking about overworld paths and exits though, then yes. It's even done in the original game (with Forest of Illusion 1 and Forest Ghost House), if I remember correctly.

You can't have more submaps without a ridiculous amount of ASM.

What do you mean by your final question? What secret level?

I think Xkeeper is worse. It's surprising to see him so high on the list. And some of his posts were things like tests or something. Things that would get other people a warning. He's a badass who plays by his own rules and gives different rules to everyone else.
