I wholeheartedly agree with this post. I don't even see how that could be funny unless you're seeing sex for the first time. And as for the cat freaking out like that, it's not that funny. Maybe if you were seeing it in action, but on camera, it's just not funny.

That's what private servers are for. If you don't want asshats destroying your work, don't let them on in the first place.

What if there are no non-bannable pages that freak you out? With some of the NLS stuff I've seen, it's quite hard to freak me out. I'll just say that even Goatse or the Harlequin Fetus isn't that bad anymore (in fact, I don't mind those at all now).

I don't think they'll be too fond of your card counting. See the Wikipedia Article. I don't think you'll be able to practise it while drunk either. It's your money though, so do as you will. Just be aware of that, okay?

I got second place a few months back. I think I got third once, too. Of course, that was way back then, when there was a healthy supply of topics for me to post in. And this month, Danielle isn't one of the leaders so far.

And not necessarily, neotransotaku. The non-podium finish music in Mario Kart is awesome. You get to hear awesome music.

What the hell at Colin's story. I've heard of women not acting ladylike before, but that's just ridiculous and far from what I consider to be "good" unladylike behavior. It's a possibility that she may not have control of her bowels, but you could potentially blame her for that (not staying healthy early on in life). At any rate though, you're free now. And it'd probably be a good idea to avoid her next week, just in case.

What strikes me the oddest is that they did a crappy job. Contrary to the name, all they are is a bunch of pictures of various levels off the game with the sprite layer and Layer 3 turned off. In fact, some levels literally have screenshots of almost every part of the level. At any rate, these are not backgrounds - they are screenshots of various parts of the game without the status bar or sprites; only the foreground and background.

So in other words, nothing to worry about here. It's so unprofessional that it won't be of any use to anyone.

Things that seem temporary can be permanent. Her bowel troubles, if she has them, could've just started recently. It is a possibility. If not, it was more than likely something she ate.

While we're on the subject of passing gas, I do it quite a bit. Most of it is silent and/or in my own home, so it's not that bad. If I have a large one in an enclosed public area, I usually "gently" squeeze it out. It's rather difficult to explain, and I'd rather not go into detail for the sake of your sanity.

And yeah, the "wrote the code, changed their minds, but never bothered removing the original code" theory makes sense. The Intellivision game Astrosmash (I think) has something similar; it was originally supposed to be two games (You would've chosen which game to play via a menu), but for some reason got cut down to one. Rather than remove the code for the second game, the programmer simply put in some code that bypassed the selection screen and took you to what we know today as Astrosmash.

Yeah, but you forgot the most important part: It is possible to reach the menu and thus the second game if you hold down reset for around three seconds.

As for the restompable goombas, this is pretty cool. I never played VS Mario Bros. (although I've been meaning to), so this is new to me. I doubt it's a bug, as it was in the arcade version, though. But at the same time, it being a bug does make a little sense. We all know from Pokemon Red and Blue that Nintendo doesn't like to admit their mistakes (bugs). If this did turn out to be a bug, they definetly kept it in the ports for either that reason, or for consistancy.

I can confirm GBC Gamesharks being unstable too. I was using one normally, and eventually, it just didn't work. Sometimes, a screen with "manual upgrade" would pop up. I got a new one that didn't screw up, however.

GBA ones seem to be the most stable out of them all. The N64 ones were extremely prone to crashing permanently. My PS2 Gameshark disc got scratched up horribly, although that was more than likely a result of it being a blue disc. Many other blue disc games seem to have similar problems. I'm sure we can all guess who to blame on that one. The one thing it did do is mess up some game files when I tried to use the compression features, but that was my fault. Other than that, it never failed me until my PS2 failed me by scratching it up.

A shiny e-medal under certain circumstances and a boost to your e-penis. The former of which is as fake and useless as so-called e-cookies. That's it, really. There's also the reward of the posts you made themselves. Quality beats quantity, but if you can have a good mix of both...but at any rate, you should really only post as much as you need to. And remember, if you get banned while trying to get a high score, your efforts are a failure. Besides, at the rate of posting we have right now, a good thinker could easily make a lot of long, well thought out posts, and still get a high score on the ACS. There's really no need to spam, unless it's happy hour. Then it's either spam, hope everyone else gets banned for some freak reason, participate in moderation, or just forget about it. It's meaningless in the end, and if you spam to get high scores in the ACS, you'll gain temporary infamy and then fade into non-existance. And I'm sure people like Doritokiller wouldn't like that, especially that last part.

Hey, there are much worse things than coming back in the hole. Such as coming back with a (stitched-up) hole in you. Come to think of it, if that happened, it'd be both tragic and hilarious at the same time. It's wishful thinking, however, as it'd be more likely that he'd end up in jail or passed out in the gutter or something. Like I said though, it's unlikely that he'd be able to follow his strategy while drunk, and even less likely that he could pull it off without drawing suspicion to his actions.

It actually seems to be more of a speed thing and a time of update thing than anything else. Trapster, for example, could easily get one that is posted at around 6 or 7AM board time, due to there being few board members online at that time, but when it comes to ones posted at 8PM board time, he would not be able to answer those so easily. But other than that, it's a reaction thing, and being in the right place at the right time (IE: I got third place in the old game despite joining it very late, because I could reply quickly). Unfortunetly, there doesn't seem to be any way to combat this.
