| I'm quite aware of that, Colin. The problem is, that smilie in particular sucks, it often gets in the way (ie: GTA:SA and MK:SC), and while you might not want to use it, you might want to use other ones in the post. :P See what I mean? | |||

Besides, one of the thing I like about GameFAQs is its relatively lenient rules in comparison with some places. If you can tolerate stupidity, and/or go to a social board like LUE or CE, it's actually a very good place. It is, or was, also a nice source of action, such as with LUE's past history, or with the KOSed members. |

If you don't know what I'm talking about, see this video of how they're threatening trade sanctions against Sweden unless they shut down thepiratebay. The video is mostly in Swedish, but is dubbed in English. Now, while opinions on piracy may be extremely varied, I think we can all agree the US Government is going a little too far. thepiratebay has also apparantly had similar trouble in the past, as this blog reveals. I bet we can, if we stretch the bill juuuust a little. You know, just inside the range of what would normally get a new user warned or banned, but within our own boundries that we have. Or maybe a forum. A private forum. For intelligent ROM Hackers everywhere. Not the supposed spinoff of this forum that uses a similar code, no. One on here, where users can be invited to if they're good, intelligent, mentally stable ROM Hackers. We could call it...uhh..."The ROM Hacking Gentleman's Club." 
As for the Display Case problem, the sub-forum used to be called "other crap" or something like that. It fit there, but taking out that one word made a world of a difference. The display case should have its own category. Aptly named "Display Case". |
