Hmm...Colin still seems to be gone for the time being...I feel like make a "citizen's ACS update", but I'm not too sure if they'd tolerate that very well.

Here's some old GIF I made in MS Paint at the time the Hot Coffee incident happened. I have no idea what I was smoking when I made it, so don't ask.

(I also made some other things, like a detailed scene of a stick guy falling into a manhole while a fat guy points and laughs, but I lost those ).

EDIT: Found something else I made. Again, I don't know what I was smoking.

You should also make it so that you can see background through them, rather than black. I know it looks that way for the stairs, but that's excuseable because of the way it is set up (ie: transitions from brick to black are used).

I think it was more of a psychological trick. I still find myself doing it to this day, even though I find it absurd.

Those [other] rumors were also pretty damn sweet now that you look back at them. Some of them are so ridiculous, you can learn not to trust people when they make stuff up anymore (also known as the ridiculous number clause).

My projected rate for 5000 could be higher as well, but I am in the opposite situation. I actually haven't started posting as much as I have until fairly recently (the middle of January, if I remember correctly). Until that point, I never really emerged from the ROM Hacking category all that often, but I did make a couple of appearances (most notably during the second happy hour and a couple of days after that) before becoming a regular.

That's kind of small, though. There's barely any room for detail.

Oh, and it's a better idea to draw the graphics on your computer. The only practical point to drawing stuff on paper is to plan level layouts, which isn't such a bad idea.

Hm? It might have been a copy that was infected with a virus. Or perhaps it was a trojan horse or something of that sort. But I doubt it was directly responsible for killing your computer.

Or alternatively (and obviously), you could put a level with no screen exits on Level 24. Failing that, you could just not use level 24 in the hack at all.

No. Although there is a DKC data topic (here), I'm certain that there was a topic containing DKC2 data on the second incarnation. Hold on, I'll see if I can find it.

PMs are a slower means of communication. I see little point to using them for anything but asking questions in private when someone isn't online. Using AIM is much faster and more practical if you plan to have long discussions.

Odd, something similiar happened to me. I think it was an IRC worm, it was around for quite a while. Except my computer did get repaired, and the crashing absolutely nothing to do with the worm. It had a faulty motherboard, and was in the shop a few times *BEFORE* I bought it.
