| Tangentially related, I tried actually performing the bug Smallhacker described. What I got was this:
Clicky It was...interesting, to say the least.
I didn't check to see if the garbage was saved to the ROM when you tried to save the title screen like that, but judging by what Smallhacker said earlier I'd guess not.  |

| You can join #rohmacking on EsperNet to talk about anything, including netplay. (Xk and BMF do it all the time. )
Also, I wouldn't mind playing netplay with someone sometime, though with school starting again next week, I likely won't have as much time. |

| I've just not been motivated to post much anymore. I haven't seen many, if any, topics that I was interested in to post, and when I found something interesting, I only had at most one or two sentences to write. I feel like I'm writing a spammy post when I write several short posts in a row, so I either don't post anything or stop posting after two or three posts.
From what I've seen, I agree with Xeo here though. Almost all of the boards I go to are slowly but certainly dying off, and all the ones that aren't have resorted to or have become spamfests to get large postcounts and therefore have less actual content in their posts. Maybe the days of Internet messageboards that actually have a reasonable purpose are coming to an end? It would be a sad end, to be sure, but one that everyone knows is basically inevitable. After all, all good things come to an end. |

| I'm tempted to try this game out and see if I'm interested in competing, but Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss (J) [!].smc crashes ZSNES on load. Am I using the wrong version of the game, or is this just something weird that ZSNES is doing? | |||

| Wow. The board as a whole made it to Wooster+ yesterday, whereas it couldn't even touch plain old Wooster for a while.
With the current posting trend, I doubt very many people will get any syndrome above Reinfors anytime in the near (or even visibly far) future, and even that will likely be borderline spammy or during a Happy Hour spree. What a change it's been from the early days, when I heard people would get syndromes on a regular basis. |

| I've only found a few glitches myself. I found a glitch in Mario Golf for the GBC where the sound effects will glitch up for a few seconds, and another in the N64 version that causes garbage to show up for the distance to the pin if the game has to display a sufficiently large number there (switch to a putter on Boo Valley's 7th hole to see it).
I also found a minor glitch in Mario Kart 64 where you can force characters to use their "selected" pose when they aren't selected, and a found a nice fatal glitch in Looney Tunes B-Ball that crashes the game about 40% of the time when it's done, and makes it impossible to score anymore points in that quarter the rest of the time. Not fun when I did it the first time and the game died in the middle of the tournament semifinals. |
