Any particular reason why the staff forums are visible in the main area for all visitors, even those not allowed to post in them? I'm assuming there is something you're ("you" being Xk) working on, but I'm curious as to why they're there.

Actually, since there are still 19 days left in this month, I'd say there's a good chance that someone could catch Hyperhacker easily. They'd just need to post a lot and not spam.

In my opinion the squashed Majora's Mask and Oni Link don't look all that great either; they shouldn't be squished or else they look weird (and I think they stretch with your post, so if you made an exceptionally long post they'd be absurdly stretched).

It seems to have been a case of tunabot not being on at the time combined with no admins being on the board either. In either case, it was quickly caught, fixed, and tunabot turned back on.

Why would you think the admins would make the board approve-only because of a single spammer? This has happened before (even on this incarnation of the board) and they didn't do that; they just banned the spammer.

The only reason the hacking forums were made approval-only was (if I understand correctly) because of the flood of noobs who refused to read the material and expected other people to basically make a hack for them, which most of the better hackers wouldn't do. So to stem this flood they required people who show they had at least half a brain to post. I doubt something similar would occur on the rest of the board.

Hm, here's something. Who is travelling somewhere this Christmas? I know Danielle has already left to visit Washington, and I'm leaving Saturday to go back home for the holidays. Who else is taking any kind of trip--to visit family or friends or just to get away for a little while?

Untrue. There have been times when full mods and admins have carried out in-plain-sight discussions in the pit.

If I remember correctly though, they had to move the threads out of the Pit, post, and then replace them in the Pit. I don't think anyone can directly post there.

According to them I have an IQ of 140. That means it hasn't dropped that much since kindergarten when I was last tested, if this test is accurate.
