It's not like it's a huge deal; people used to ask to be banned from the board if they were going on vacation before or if they were leaving the board for a while. While Xk isn't doing any of those things, it is kind of difficult to actually remove the main coder of the board while that code is being worked on.

That said, he does have ways to reinstate himself as an admin or otherwise, as already shown.

Personally, I don't see how it's necessarily a great measure of anything statistically, unless you're checking to make sure people didn't spam or post overly short replies to anything.

You can tell that a lot of them are directly ripped from other games, although they wouldn't look bad in a SMW hack or somesuch. Also, if you're giving credit to "the original rippers," why do you open saying "made some random Mario Tiles"?

I play TA every once in a while, more when I'm at home and can play with my sister. My Time Trial record is somewhere around 42k in TA and 55k on Puzzle League (that one's still ranked on tetrisattack.net).

I joined this board around the time that a second tournament was being talked about (though I don't think it ever happened ), and I remember reading some of the archives of the first tournament. I don't think a second one ever started though.

Edit: Just tried playing again for the first time in about a month (on emulator, yes, but with an actual SNES controller and SmartJoy) and hit just under 40k on Time Trial. First time I've come close to 40k in a while; I usually average closer to 32k.

IE: <table style="width:100%"> is defined to mean 100% of the window size.
Opera: <table style="margin:20px"> sets the page margins to 20px around and not the object margins to 20px.

I dunno, I think the corniness of the joke makes it at least a chuckler (though I was more expecting Mitra to ask the bird if he would have liked to use the fan, i.e. to cool off, instead of buy it, since attempting to sell the fan makes it more "fan-sales" than a "fan-service").

In any case, I like it. Keep up the great work (and like Xk now I have to read your other comics ).

Looks like a crappy flash animation that's meant to resemble a malfunctioning game, but it's certainly not very good or funny, in my opinion.

And in all honesty I doubt a game would act anything like this if it were simply corrupted. I'd expect some reprogramming to have occurred to make it do that (kinda like the Mario Movie).
