| Hi all, I finally decided to get approved for the hacking forums, since I'm getting rather interested in it again.
My name is Isaiah M., alias Kamek, and I have been a member at Acmlm's board since 2003 (although I was mostly inactive until about September of 2005). I am a college freshman who enjoys playing, coding, and tinkering with games in my spare time. Although I have contributed relatively little in the past to the ROM hacking community, I would like to be approved in order to help others with their ROM hacking efforts. Specifically, I am currently helping to bugtest Sukasa's SMW hack, COTMK, and if and when I get some spare time I plan on working to more fully decode Super Mario Kart's AI routine (and possibly find some other data, such as track starting positions and sprite positions) and to work on a SMB3 hack (I did some minor SMB3 hacking in the past, including submitting a level to DahrkDaiz's level design contest that he did for the ill-fated Luigi vs. Mario). If you feel that for some reason I should not get approved for the hacking forums, please alert me to what I need to do to improve my chances of being approved in the future. No one's made an accusation yet, so the people who like to accuse other people simply because they "jumped to conclusions" and actually made an accusation don't have anything to do. Essentially everyone knows the killers are out there, but we don't know where, and thus we aren't doing anything about them. We're simply waiting them out. Thus, my entirely too long post about why I think today should be a no-kill day. |

It seems that several gaming sites and magazines have given Sonic Genesis as equally poor of a rating as most (if not all) of us have. It's a shame I don't get Nintendo Power anymore; I'd like to see what that 6.0 rating was all about, really. (edited by Kamek on 11-20-06 11:35 PM) |
