Sorry if I haven't been much help as of yet, but I have been backed up with some other things... such as a new SMW hack I am making, DDR Ultramix 3, Soul Calibur III and some other stuff.

...although I have a majority of one character done. There was a question I was going to ask before posting it...

I'll have to figure that out tomorrow...

Weirdest thing I saw was in the toy box in Booster's Tower. I saw Samus in it...
Link was in the game as well.

OH! And the Border Game? WTF? I wouldn't jump rope for my life, let alone do it to cross a border to some other country with many allegories of the place you came from.

Don't forget the Axem Rangers. You knew what they were making fun of, but I was still "Weirded out!"

Well, if you haven't noticed by my avatar, I am in the process of making a new hack with some new things...

To begin, I decided to make a new Mario sprite. I couldn't think of a person to make, and I decided to shift gears to a dinosaur type of creature. Don't ask.

After I got the sprite made, I named him Alzo. Then I made another sprite for the Luigi sprite (thanks to Smallhacker for the patch) and named him Rixe.

Since I just got started with it, I don't have much to present. What I do have to present though is the following two images.

A new FG I am working on. The plants are going to be on a pole to make it look better. Idea came up when I took a shower tonight...

A sprite sheet of the two characters of their poses I have done (except the running sprite, which I forgot to put in this sheet). Since I had no idea how Rixe should look compared to Alzo since they are brothers, I went with the Mario/Luigi idea and made him skinny. I also shrunk his horn.

Now, what I need to do is finish the small sprites and work on the big sprites, as well as create the overworld, which, like SML2, is going to have an unlinear overworld. Since I despise overworld editing, this might be the task that takes me forever.

I do have world plans, though. They are:

Jungle Jive: A jungle based world with many exotic plants and creatures. Will use the tileset above once it is complete.
Bigg's Belly: The belly of a giant creature. Acid and obstructions are amok.
Fog Factory: An abandoned factory, overrun with fog (GASP!) and the ghosts of the past.
Pompous Pipe: Inside of the underground plumbing lurks dangerous stuff.
C. Cliffside: Home of Velo C. Rapper, this mountainous plateau never loses its cool, but it does lose its structure a lot.
BT Dungeon: Bass Tard, the guy taking over the world, planted this dungeon as a last resort against rebels Alzo and Rixe. The only way to get here by pipe is the first six (insert Yoshi egg equivilants here) and to unlock the door to his fort is with all seven.

I don't have any ideas for the Star and Special World, so that's as far as I got. I still don't have a decent storyline yet, but progress is coming along. I'm also looking into some ASM guides so I could try making some new twists in the game.

All I need are some ideas for what I could improve on for the tileset and the sprites, as well as replacements for Yoshi and some of the enemies.
Right now, I want to focus on the graphical part so I can get that out of the way, which I need ideas for each tileset (preferably the one I am working on right now, which is for Jungle Jive) and the corresponding sprites.

Constructive criticism and ideas for this may begin...

I think its a vine whip...
Nevertheless, still looks pretty neat.

Sprite sheet for new characters in my SMW hack. I still have a lot more sprites to edit before this sheet is complete...

Already mentioned.

I love the custom sprites, and that FG looks fliptastic. The star world and special worlds could be storyline twists that take you there or something (I don't really know, I'm just giving suggestions )

I don't really have any complaints right now - C. Cliffside sounds great

Actually, I might just make them optional worlds like in SMW, but I want a different theme for them.
As for C. Cliffside, I just came up with that when I thought of dinosaurs... 0_o

Great Job, I really enjoy the foreground GFX this hac looks like it is going to turn out very well. Make sure that you add in a better background instead of the blue one, but I think you alreadyy knew that, anyways I can't wait for a demo.

Well, I need to make a background, of course.

You dont have much there, but it still looks cool... On the foreground, since your going for Jungle Jive, put some vines hanging on stuff, it will make the green ground with dots look less boring.

Nice suggestion. I might try that out tonight.

What I got done from last night. As you can see, its Rixe doing his sliding motion. The poles look okay to me, but the problem was that I wanted line guides from one post to another. Didn't turn out right... as the platform falls down when you reach the screen that it is on...

I'll take the suggestions that I did get and try working on them after I get some other stuff taken care of.

PI! EVIL PI! GAH!

2 pi equals a full circle.

So really, if you have to celebrate pi day with pie, you must bring in 1 half of a pie.

Have to remember trigonomic functions somehow, right?

I thought the song was done... then it finished loading...

I only have one dog as of now, although our family has had a bunch of pets. No cats, though. My dad hates them for reasons during his childhood.

My dog's name is Midnight, probably due to the fact that she is pure black except her paws. She is a collie mix (well, I am unsure, but she does look like a collie). Best dog ever some times. She rarely gets in trouble and when she does do something bad (such as tear up the trash) we chain her up for a night and she learns her lesson. Heh. For an outside dog, she doesn't really do much but chill all day.
When we refill her water tub for drinking, she lays down in the water, then drinks my mom's plant water. 0_o
She will never come inside, except one time when my dad had to get another dog out of our yard and scared the hell out of her, which she only entered the front part of the house and went back out. Only time she has done that...

Best part about her: You find a lizard, say "Lizard! Get it!" and she will run to grab that sucker if she can see it! At random times she will chase squirrels as well.

I'll post a picture later.

I think I'll remove the poles from those plants and actually make an actual vine go on the poles. I like the plants as is for some reason and would prefer not to get rid of them.

So, I'll remove the pole with the plants and make them just seperate from the poles. The poles are going to have some sort of vine on them as well as have some platforms for sprites and Alzo to walk on.

That's Alastor's comics, not everyone elses.

His may be random, but so is Dilbert and Garfield... which this comic can't compare to.

...this comic is beyone those.

*bang* *boom* is all you need to make a comic funny. They weren't even in separate frames which most comics usually do to make it not funny.

I await the next comic.

Heard about this on the news. My local news said that it was delayed because they had to fix something with the disk drive.

Yeah... I am sure that is the only reason...

Eh, I wasn't going to get a PS3. Nothing seems to appeal to me about it and I have no clue what games are going to be on it. As with all game systems, I have to know what games are going to be on it before I go and buy a system.

Which is why I decided at the last minute not to buy the 360 because there were no games on there that appealed to me. Plus, after playing the demo of Project Gotham Racing 3, I could not stand how the graphics were the most important thing to the system.

And if Sony does the same thing with the PS3, I'll have to hope the Revolution is going to be good.

Yeah, most of the time. Usually if I have to type while holding a page open then I'll type with one hand. When I can use both hands, I'll use the home row keys.

...as for typing programs... MicroType Pro, I think. I can't remember the name, but the program had an asteroid shooting game that you had to complete in order to win the lesson...

No.

...when I have to click a name on MySpace and have to wait five minutes to regain control of lololol to browse other pages just because one user wants ten Flash games with sound and over twenty pictures of themselves on their profile, not including comments or background image (which usually is about 700kb), then there is a problem. If a page described you, then most would be someone who crams everything in a closet and tries to close the door.

And the fact that you can't do much with the layout of your profile... its kind of... not art...

Heh... I have only a small background, custom contact info pic, and one picture in my profile (excluding comments, which has only one picture from my brother's fiancee...). Loads in an instant. Simple is just the way I like it...

Well... I am just wondering...

Have any of you beat Event 51 without losing a life?
It is not that hard unless you know how to use your character and get rid of Giga Bowser before taking care of Ganondorf and Mewtwo.

It took me a few times in a row to get it but I did manage to do it. Too bad you don't get anything.

About 100, I think.

It wouldn't be so bad if people had to rely on code generators to make their profiles. When they get bored of a profile they don't sometimes even remove previous coding and then the page gets crappier and crappier. Hell, one of my friends asked me to fix his layout because he tried to put in a prebuilt survey in the details spot (and since it cuts text off at a certain length, the code was never finished and made the rest of the page part of the table and cut out the Edit button when trying to fix it).

Your page is like the rest of my friends' pages: all done with code generators and huge Flash games (which, by the way, I have blocked) and a background image that just doesn't work with the table colors. Your profile is also riddled with "Made with blah blah blah" code generators that turn someone's profile into a stupid advertisement.

At least make it to where the only thing that should take a while to load be the ad at the top of the screen.

While you are at it, try coding things yourself. It isn't that hard.

Oh, and I will quote what I said and post about it with your profile.

...when I have to click a name on MySpace and have to wait five minutes to regain control of lololol to browse other pages just because one user wants ten Flash games with sound [and other crap], then there is a problem.
