This game. I MUST get it. I haven't bought a new game in... 2 months. This weekend, yes, I'll get it.

I can't actually contibute to discussion since I don't have it, but, one question. Is the difficulty scale progressive, easy throughout or hard throughout? I don't mind easy parts in games, but if it's all easy there's no sense of accomplishment. And if it's too hard, I won't finish it due to lack of patience.

Holy crap, this is one of the most badass things I've seen. Mario's a freaking powerhouse!

My one suggestion- make it so power-ups you get that you already have aren't wasted. The way it is, whatever's in your itembox stays in your itembox if you grab a feather when you have a cape or a flower when you have a flower.

Of course, technically this patch equalizes the shroom to the flower and cape, so it doesn't matter as much. Still, just my $ .02.

My 2 cents: Don't merge General Gaming with General Emulation, the topics of the forum are too different, as well as for the other reasons presented by Math on Napkins. Do however merge Mario and RPG gaming into general gaming. It'll probably be one of the most active forums after that.

Keep game creation by itself; sometimes the self-made games involve truly custom programming while others are made with a program and only feature self-made graphics, and sometimes not even that.

Adv. ROM hacking, well... since I'm not an advanced (or intermediate) ROM hacker, I can't fairly pass judgement on if they should be merged or not.

Story forum and battle arena should be seperate; some people like to roleplay only with bloody violence, and others like to discuss things like gentlemen, so leave them as it is.

Brain teasers, I don't know what you could merge that with, so I would leave it.

I'm not sure what you mean by blocks in Q 20. Do you mean candles, or every single dang block in the level?

I just played through level 8 (reminded me how much I hated that level), so I know the answer's 2 blocks. (The boss is Frankenstein's monster, too )

If you have layouts turned off and won't turn 'em on to see what it looks like, This is the image I'm talking about. In my layout, it also says that the BG is taken from Bubsy: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, and made to work with tileing so it doesn't look awful.

Oh my gosh, I remember this way back from like August or Semptember of last year, and I loved it then. If you've put 8 more months worth of work on it, then it's even more spectacular that it was back then, and it was damn spectacular then.
