I've been hearing about this for years, never expected it would actually happen by now. Though, it seems that a Blu-ray burner with rewritable discs is still cheaper than this Hell, hard disks are cheaper.
Still pretty impressive though. Also, I'd totally store every DVD I own on my hard disk uncompressed if I had the capacity (though it seems plausible with the 1TB drives coming their way). |

| He mentions detaching a tab into its own window. *FreeDOS + does it in Konqueror; oh crap *FreeDOS + feels like filing a bug to attach a window to another one, but probably won't | |||

| I've been using a 1280x1024 CRT for a long time. Well, actually I replaced it with another 1280x1024 CRT a few months ago, but oh well. | |||

Originally posted by Alice Well, they're usually distributed as cartridges themselves Oh, you mean illegal copies, yeah, they're usually just bit-for-bit copies of the ROM; just like CD-ROM images (often misleadingly called "ISO", which carries two major misconceptions).
I've heard that Super Mario 64 DS uses the same level format as the original, when you uncompress it. I'm not sure about it, but it doesn't seem unlikely. Oh, and how do you know the code is cleaner, do you have the source code? Because the game itself doesn't show it; has as many bugs as the original. |

| What are you trying to rate? The hardware, the games, the controller, the market, ?? | |||

| It's still too vague, you can't just rate/review it like this. Sure, the Nintendo 64 sucks, but I still play Super Mario 64 on it, so where does that leave me? | |||

| If the same level formats are used, why not? We could effectively have an editing application for both games if it's true; just support both compression formats. and with Nintendo DS, you don't have to worry about offsets, the filesystem used in most (all?) commercial games takes care of that for you. | |||

| It won't work without being in quirks mode--which is a generally bad thing to be using in the first place. | |||

| Hint: Never use anything with the name Norton. I guess this is the unfortunate first-hand experience now.
And I guess you could get Windows XP online if you want.
about Ubuntu: if you're just using hte LiveCD, then NTFS partitions aren't mounted by default, but it does support them. If you installed Ubuntu, you wouldn't have to do these commands, but here: mkdir /mnt/windows mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows Also, it's unlikely that you'll be able to play the videos since iirc Ubuntu only comes with Ogg codecs (vorbis, theora, etc). If you install the proper codes using hte LiveCD, it'll be gone next time you boot it; you can obviously avoid that by installing Ubuntu. (edited by FreeDOS + on 01-25-07 03:10 PM) |

WGA is known to pass at illegitmate keys obtained a certain way But I shouldn't go futher.
Also, dual booting Windows and Ubuntu can't really get much easier. Just install Windows first, then install Ubuntu; Ubuntu will automatically set up a boot menu for you. |

| Might as well just import a PS3 for less money. Shouldn't be too hard; at least I know that Fry's and Fred Meyer have plenty of PS3s for everyone that wants one (almost zero). | |||

| It's meant more for stylizing a site yourself; if you think headers and stuff look better like that.
You could also lowercase everything. |

| And I actually tried to make it coherent this time. Pretty much the minimum number of features I thought were necessary; no registration, no boards. Basically threads and posts. All in clean, valid XHTML (and to piss off Xk: <table>s!). I didn't bother to fill it with comments, I thought it was pretty straight-forward. All this requries is PHP5, SQLite, and maybe a POSIX-compatible filesystem (uses chmod to control access to the database, dunno if it fails on winnt or whatever).
Originally, I didn't even want to style it with CSS; however, on thread.php it just didn't seem right without styling it so you can differ from the post header and post itself. Normally I don't really care to release stuff like this, however I've decided that perhaps it might prove useful for a number of purposes. Maybe learning PHP, or learning how to use SQLite in PHP, or building a board based off of it (it's pretty easy to expand it). Edit: I've been informed that Windows NT operating systems (the only versions of Windows still being supported by Microsoft) still have an old filename restriction that I assumed was limited to MS-DOS (including Windows 95/98/Me). If you are using one of these operating systems, you will be unable to extract con.php, so I'll post the file's contents here and you can change the source code of the other files which require it: <?php (edited by FreeDOS + on 01-25-07 08:16 PM) (edited by FreeDOS + on 01-26-07 03:26 AM) (edited by FreeDOS + on 01-26-07 03:30 AM) |

| Well, heh. This board's editpost feature really needs to get that fixed. It doesn't convert, say, < to &lt; in the textarea box. |
