| They're only good for postcount++, which is bad. Oh, and plain stupidness with lack of content (posting 'dafsdfasg') would also be equally bad.
(the announcements system is broken, so I made a thread, talk about postcount++) |

Also, w3m is so weird. In a recent xterm and clones, it can actually display images in the terminal. And it lacks the CSS support necessary for my trick to work, whoo! |

Some PCI buses and cards support hotplugging. Though finding proper hardware support is like how hard it was to find an ISA PnP bus and the ISA PnP cards. ![]() |

| This is ... aaaahhhhhhh. I'd rather play Zelda 2.
Oh, Yoshi's Island was a fairly good remake, excellent sound quality first of all ![]() |

| Nope, it was probably a defective controller, or the sensor bar was thrown off. | |||||||||||

| Just use the GParted LiveCD to resize partitions and things, then use your new OS's installer to make its own partitions. Should work perfectly fine.
and HH: The BIOS doesn't assign letters to drives or partitions, that's all Windows' doing. (edited by FreeDOS + on 11-20-06 05:54 AM) |

| If you want something quick and somewhat easy, then you can do with Nero. If you don't mind the command line and want to generate a DVD that can rival the commercial discs' menus, you could get ffmpeg (or mencoder for extra-fine tuning) and dvdauthor. (edited by FreeDOS + on 11-20-06 08:41 PM) |

| The dvdauthor documentation adequetly tells you how to make chapters for either each file, or spilt from one input file.
Also, it might be of note that DeVeDe is a frontend that uses dvdauthor ![]() |

The Sonic Genesis thread is really off topic, mainly because I said a comment about rather playing Zelda II (implying that it's bad, which is my opinion of it). So basically the idea is to spew off praises and complaints here
Personally, I don't care for the game. It's definately not the worst game ever, but it's not my preferred mix of side-scrolling and Zelda. My own personal order of Zelda games (which I have actually played) is as such: Zelda 3 > Zelda 4 > Zelda Oracles > Zelda 1 > Zelda OoT > Zelda WW > Zelda 2 |

| Considering how most ports are, I picked this up with an expectation much lower than what the game actually is. As should be from FF5, it's quite an excellent story and game; the GBA remake is really breathtaking, as odd as that might sound. The improved graphics and remixed music are bonuses to this game. I haven't played any of the other Final Fantasy Advance games, but maybe I should, this is easily the best GBA port I've ever seen.
Anyone else got the chance to play this yet? It's absolutely wonderful, true to the original Super Famicom feel, with some changes that don't ruin the game. Definately a must to any Final Fantasy and/or RPG fan, especially ones that have a GBA/NDS and want to play it wherever they go. |

| Windows NT without loading its GUI module? There's not any real name, 'Recovery Console' might be the closest, but some people have hacked it to be more fully-functional (eg, running Win32 console apps and Interix) | |||||||||||
