I'm not a big fan of them, especially the ones named "Pop-Tarts". There's some other brand (plainly goes by the name Toaster Pastries) that tastes better and isn't 50% crust.... forget what it was. My favorite is just the cinnamon brown sugar one.

ROM hacking doesn't necessarily have anything to do with illegal actions. You can have your own homemade dump and everything's legal. Distribute IPS patches and you won't distribute any of the original ROM either.

Yeah people have done it, but the NES is pretty small for a PC so it's pretty tricky.

AMD64 (or x86_64 as many call it) is also compatible with 32-bit and 16-bit operating systems (running the processor in legacy mode).

In order to run 32-bit programs on your 64-bit OS, it has to have an emulation layer of a sort. WinXP 64-bit has one built in, but it's not very good at it. Things like Linux or *BSD also have layers, but you usually need to install extra stuff.

Yeah, I eat it... the crust is delicious.

Also, I seem to be one of very few people that don't like stuffed crust.

unless you imported other copyrighted data, none will be in the patch.

Which happens all too often anyway. Especially patches that rip SMAS music or graphics into SMW. You're essentially distributing copyrighted data and the patch contains illegal contents.

Overworld design... I hate it and generally don't do it (and I never release my hacks to anyone but a few friends anyway.. )

Acmlm's Board: Very not standards compliant
Microsoft's sites: Very not standards compliant

I wouldn't totally rule out the problem occuring on both sites..

But if no one else has the problem, I suspect one of your extensions.

It'd probably help you more to just make a PWAD for the general Doom ports (Windows, DOS, Linux, BeOS, Mac OS, just about _everything_ else). See doomworld.com and other sites.

Do you NEED a reason to do anything? PocketNES rocks even through a GBA emulator.

$1,000 isn't that much money, but I'd might do a FearFactor-style food thinger.

"standard" on the web doesn't necessarily mean who's got most of the market. Oh, and I like Konqueror's RSS icon myself, it looks like a broadcasting thinger.

under the part that asks the question about editing SMA2, you should add this (at least the same basic explaination):
Nintendo did not use any of the original Super Mario World code for the SMA2 version, it was based off of the first SMA, the physics, graphics, and (most) sound was changed of course. There is zero similarity to the SuperNES Super Mario World behind the scenes. Making an editor for SMA2 means reverse engineering it from the ground up. If you'd like to do it, go right ahead, otherwise the answer is that there is no current way to hack it.

Posted on 12-21-05 02:16 AM, in Xbox 360 emulator? Link
The original Xbox is a cripled PC, I'm not sure about the Xbox 360 though.

Btw Xk, emulation of itself isn't piracy. Sure someone could do it... the uses beyond downloading games and playing them are few, but it doesn't make the emulator illegal. ("Hey, let's make the Internet illegal since it can be used for illegal purposes!!!!111")
