Two things: No it isn't.

Second: Virtually everyone does. I defy you to find me a significant number of second-generation immigrants who do not speak English.

As for first-gen, that's just how it works, not every first-gen immigrant will ever learn the language of their new country with any real success. Even when there's serious effort, any language is difficult to learn with fluency, especially in adulthood.

You're going to end up una nación bilingüe. You practically are already, but so fucking what? How does that hurt you in even the slightest way?

The language thing really isn't an issue, and besides, Spanish is a great language, it has a certain... yo no se que.

Finally, as a general point, I think blaming the shitty employment conditions at the bottom end of the American labour market on immigrants, illegal or otherwise, is insane and wrong, as it has been every other time through US history that the idea has raised its ugly head.

Would it really be a huge effect on our people if we drilled in our country, eviroment-wise? Would if effect us all dramatically?

another question (with all due respect):
Are animals more important than us actual human beings? And to keep on sending money overseas to our very enemy?

Did you know our own government keeps more money earned from gas prices than the actual oil companies....??

I found that out today.... I was like "Whoa!" I about had heart failure...

My only concern is that I'm (as a working man) going to be paying to drive my truck to construction sites, that can vary... I'm actually scared.... I'm scared because if we don't do something I'm only going to be paying to drive to work... I only put 20$ in at a time instead of 70$, because I can't afford it... My daddy doesn't pay for everything for me like some people today, I have to earn it all for myself... and I want to start a family soon... am I going to be able to do that?

I would say if you weighed out all the problems, then I think that drilling here in USA would be the better solution, but I'm not being a dick... and I appreciate your input, because it's healthy for us to talk about economical issues...
