As well: We should have a Cube tourny. |

In case you don't know: It looks like a pretty PS controller. I was wondering if there was any way to get the rumble to work in EPSXE and Mupen64 in Linux. Does anyone know how to get it to work?

My curiousity is this: How do they make money? Surely they either have a lot of money and time on their hands or there is something fishy going on somewhere... >>

Tuxnes is alright. It's all command line stuff, though... so it's suggested that you use the GTuxnes frontend with it. Frankly I find it odd that EPSXE runs better than it... but whatever.

Well I'm looking and I'm looking and I really can't find much. I want something that works with my gamepad, but the only one is KiGB and the sound doesn't work on it... >> Does anyone know of anything else?

For portable SNES games, I'd rather get a GP2X than a DS

Well for one: VisualBoyAdvance doesn't run very well on my computer. The Linux version is really demanding... I don't know why... >> I have an Athlon XP 1600+ and it still seems to run slow... Gngb doesn't work with my gamepad. KiGB works with my gamepad, but it can't seem to find my sound. And I checked there already... >>

I use Mupen64. It's ok. I wish there was something better for linux. Like if someone ported Project 64 or something. The only games I got to work well so far are OOT and OOT: Master Quest.

I havn't tried Mario Kart 64 (Because I'm sick of it), Super Mario 64 (Because I have the actual cartridge) and Diddy Kong Racing (Because I hate it). Super Smash Bros works ok, but that's not much of a single player game.

Hee hee. I love it. It even works well in Linux under Cedega. Excellent find.

No sound at all? Or sound-effects, but no music?

Ok then that's a whole other problem. Try fiddling with the sound settings. Or try and make sure nothing else is hogging use of the sound system.

Great find. Are there any Oblivion demos? And does Oldblivion work with it?

In 3, can't you fuse Goku with Hercule?

I recently downloaded HAM and would like to learn how to use it. Every time I pick up a "noobie FAQ" it gives me a list of guides that sound like they would be worth reading and a bunch of 404's where the guides used to be. Does anyone have any good ones?

Now you're just confusing me. Whats the difference between ARM32 and ARM7 other than 25?

From what I read, it sounds like it would be better to use C because if you used C++, you would have to use a buttload of tricks in order to make it as fast as C. Plus what you were saying about you don't need to use ASM as much for C. So basically, I should look at the C side of GBA developement? |
