If you guys can help it'd be appreciated, Everytime I try to change the Main Overworld it reverts back no matter what. Is there anyway to fix this? Also there are some colors that are "ASM Programmed in" Is there anyway to change that aswell?

There was a way to do that with some formula of IPS patching I remember doing long time ago but since then my memory has faded.

Well that fixes one thing but is there any other way to fix the ASM coded colors? Because If it's possible I'd like ot create a whole new palette for the overworld entirely.

My requests may seem a bit hard but...

1 - ASM modification to the overworld to enable all levels to be enabled with the level tiles. If it's even possible that is. [0-1FF enabled for level Tiles]

2 - a Custom Block Using the Goal Sphere's art and properties like SMB3 I have the Keyhole on my map in Layer 1 and I wish to make it work exactly like SMB3 Depending on a special free ram byte that tells how many of the Spheres were collected to unlock the "Next" lock. I'm using this as a way to unlock the secret world for my hack so.

3 - Lost Levels Poison Shroom. Which automatically makes you small Mario and can also take up spacr in the Item reserve if collected as small Mario and can't be replaced by other items and will instantly affect you like poison when you get a regular item such as a Mushroom or a star it negates it's effect.

4 - This one involves SPC700 though Probably may be the hardest rather. I see many unused spaces that go up to 7F in the music selection, If somebody could help me find the locations of the SMAS Music [SMB1,2,3,LL] as well as help with the format of music and how to change some of the pointers and the location of the SMW music it'd be a great help for what I want to try out. With or without total knolwedge of ASM I wish to give it a shot either way.

Those are my requests, I hope you guys can help out as it'd be much appreciated ^^.

P.S. To those who do help PM me a link to where i could download or where you could guide me through how to do this. Also if anybody knows how to make Animations for Overworld it'd be nice to help me with that aswell.

I've finally re-started work on my hack that I lost in a hard drive incident, I've put so much effort into the Overworld alone for the [ast 6 days, I'm still not done with it yet but I'm getting there. I'm going to try to use as many levels as I can for this hack. For the side note you don't Fight the Koopa Kids until you reach the Secret world. [Screenshot below].

If anybody knows how to Animate Overworld Tiles Please give me a heads up as I can't figure it out and I really need to animate most of my tiles.

Basically the new Underground Caverns being planned out still.


I can't wait to work on the levels using this tileset as it just looks awesome IMO.

The Next few shots are overworld Tests for the new art.




And last but not least, The secret world's the only Map that's currently done so far.



Any comments? Suggestions on what I should add?

I'm in the process of implementing more Overworld tiles, The overworld's far from done and the Levels are just as far away from being done, I'm concentrating on the Overworld first before I get intact with the levels because I'll be basing some levels on the Overworld.

Lunar Magic wasn't the source for my Hard drive's sudden Death. The cause of mine was Rotor damage caused by a shot to the ground it made when I was using it in the External Comp bridge I made. Though it still works slightly I can't read anything from it which really sucks. I don't know for sure but I highly doubt Lunar Magic would cause a hard drive to die.

Heh The entire game is actually quite changed around. The Star Road tiles are alternate warps. They don't take you to shortcuts. The Forest I'll probably add something like different Variety of Tree's as the first world is a Lakeside forest so I can't really add a lake to the secondary Deep Woods. Though More suggestions would be helpful, I'm starting to work on World 1's Island edges. I'm also usnure on what to make Star Road, I was thinking a Cloud world but that'd be too cliche.

Well if anybody can answer me on how to Animate Overworld Tiles I'll be most pleased to put my fire in it and other animations, Thanks.

Recently I've been trying to play Mario Advance 4 with VBA but I've been getting the same crap with different roms i download about a corrupt save file. I wonder if it's VBA's doing because I also had problems saving Fire Red. I've attatched a picture.

If anybody can help it's much appreciated.

I've checked over the entire board and haven't found anything that explains how to Animate overworld tiles, I need to animate overworld tiles so I can finish my tileset.
