| Im not really sure how to post pictures on here the picture link button doesnt work for me and i dunno what to do about it so yea....heres the link ok cant get the link thing to work either just copy and past this into your browser to see what ive got so far ill read the noobie post and figure out how to work this thing later.

i have tried but understand little and dont know how to use dos.thanx for the picture posting help most of the hacks ive done involve Ness from Eb but im ready to take on other hacks.

| Sounds alot easier then making pallet sheets like I did with Tlp.
But what can I use for hacking compresed graphics the ones that dont show up in tlp or xx-char that doesnt run in dos?ok well i guese there isnt any ill see if my friend cant make something to hack compresed graphics in something besides dos ill have to learn alot more about programing to make something though if he cant.ALOT MORE.so i guese ill edit this post in a few years lol. yea I already knew there were specific game music editors but none of the games I wanna hack have music editors for them,so i will just take my chances with a hex editor and a corrupter . ok THIS IS THE LAST QUESTION could I find a sound file online download it and get the hex for it and stick it in the game if I knew where the location of the sound in the game. sorry if this is a stupid question ,and thanks for the info thus far (edited by Crayola on 03-19-06 06:37 PM) |

| I dont know what you mean by "something tells me that you took my old sig and edited slightly, then stuck it in your own."But whatever the "sig" thing is ill be happy to change it if you would like.

| ZELDA 2 CHEATS
Ive kept this cheat in my head for 10 years and I know this is for zelda 1 but I wanted to list a cheat for zelda 2 anyways there is all kinds of fun stuff that can be done with the cheat PASKPLLE I remember it from when I was little and had just started using a game genie anyways the cheat itself is not that exiteing but when you change a few letters of it i can do some pretty wild things.I cant remember the conversion for game genie cheats if anyone remembers post it im gonna fin these cheats again I havent done game genie cheats since I was 7.two of my favorites were the ones where using sheild would kill the townspeople and give u alot of points and my favorite turned them into blobs and you could kill them.I got this ratty old notbook with a few cheats in it ill figure out what they do then edit this post. EYKEEVSA-strange doors appear when you use sheild and they take you places when you walk thru them.(very glitchy) TASKPLLE-gives you D amount of men try it out to see what im talking about. | I didnt want to know how to hack a specific game I just need a short method of how to hack hex and any other neat ways to hack im sure ill find somethin on here

But im sure eventually I can do something great like the people here have done that is my goal at least.But I have been changeing the hex values in a game into zero like a whole lot of them and i havent seen any changes ,is this usless data or something Im just not seeing.the game is :a nightmare on elm street . and the values are everything between (I hope i wright this right) 0001FED0--0001F9D0 Is this to small of an amount of data to be of any signifigance? sorry if I asked another stupid question. |

| well the way Im doing it so far is editing a set of hex at a time(like 10 or 15 lines) seeing if it has a noticeable effect and then movieng on but I take vigurous notes so anything I mark as unknown will be gone back over later.plus I have everything backed up so when I change the file I save it is "that file name"2 then load it see if there are any changes if none are seen/heared I go back to the original and change another set save it as "that file name"2 then repeat the process over and over till an effect is reached then I narrow it down to a line and wright it down.is this a good or bad aproach? | |||

illl corrupt from 0001fed0 to 0000fde0. lol,ok as I expected it turned out horrible the start up screen wouldnt even start and no music no sound at all. but at least I now know that there was some important data between 0001fed0--0000fde0. so now ill go from 0001fed0-10-0001abd0. thats about half of the previous which is about a quarter of the game.I think I get hex editing a little more.3 efect from that messes up player select screen,messed up bg outside,and nothing but sprites viewable indoors.so between 0001fed0-10-0001abd0 was something imporrtant as well. | Ok there are three main things that I think hold back further improvement of the USA or the world in general. Please keep in mind that I have formed only opinions so far and not full blown belief in what I’m about to list, I just want to hear your opinions and or other things you guys might consider harmful to Americas growth (not talking about population but intellectually,financially,and freedoms in general)
1: religion : don’t get me wrong religion is good and blah blah blah,but I think religion holds us back a lot and I think when they say separation of church and state that what they should have said was separation of church and state except Christianity. reasons why I feel this way is because we have a moment of silence in class every day, hmm that silence is supposedly to show respect for those who died in the 911 attack but what it really is, is a moment for prayer. Anyways I don’t pray in class and I am forced to be silent. That is not the part that bothers me I think that they hide behind 911 as a ruse when what they’re really allowing time for is prayer in class, I don’t care if they have prayer in class for that min but I think they should at least be honest about it and say what it really is. I know at this point most of you are like he is an atheist but this is not so If I had to pick a religion it would be Christianity, I believe there is a Omni-present being out there somewhere. (And check out god’s debris by the guy who draws Dilbert)I loved it. There are also religious overtones all throughout the country mostly the bible belt you may have heard this term in history (blue laws)if you don’t already know what they are ill explain. Blue laws are basically laws based on restrictions in the bible. Most of them refer to restrictions on the day of the Sabbath (Sunday); there are many blue laws that restrict the sale of alcohol on Sunday. I have reached one conclusion with blue laws --it’s that there is a contradiction between separation of church and state, and living in a democracy. There is a lot more I could write about religion but I won’t this post is big enough already. And I think they should keep GOD in the pledge, just saying. And the catholic church is corrupt a s*&t how can they abolish limbo to attract more flowerers aka: money, anybody remember the Crusades I do and how Indians and others were killed for not believing the Christian beliefs ,and how many states restricted other religions from entering them when America was first founded ,because of religious differences. Ok ill stop now #2: Government: no surprise here, government is corrupt as can be almost as much as the news or the Catholic Church. Freedom of speech my ass .Ok I got kicked out of school for five days went to court twice and did 20 hours community service cause I flipped off my principle, ok I know it wasn’t the smartest thing to do but point is, is that I got in trouble for a finger ,does anyone else see how stupid that is? But i got off subject just a little what I really wanted to talk about was CORRUPTION............cough..Cough...Nixon...cough...Bush....* Let me be a little more to the point why would we need to go to war umm let me see OIL!! There was 911 and I myself was all for restitution but not by killing innocent people. America is hated all over the world don’t believe me learn a foreign language and watch their news. The government abuses our American loyalty by taking our people and throwing them in a war which they don’t belong over money, I’m broke as I don’t know what and I wouldn’t risk someone else’s life over it. And at this point you would call me an anarchist but anarchy doesn’t work (watch slc punks) .what I would really like to see is a reform we have kept the same basic laws for 400 years why not take a chance with something different ,with a new generation comes an accelerated need for reform because the beliefs of a new generation aren’t the same as an older one .Think about the conflicts you have with your parents over difference of opinion ,what I’m saying is that we have a 400 year span of differences. THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS REFORM even if I have to be a dirty politician to reform it i will. #3-human nature in itself holds us back I think we should all take a position as a Stoic or a Taoist; ever seen a riot it’s a pretty nasty thing point is there isn’t enough reason in this world today. Common sense-I hate this term the name itself makes me think about Conformity. I act of my own freewill I place no restrictions on myself and by doing that place no limits on achievements, goals, exc. They say a man responds better in the job below the one he is qualified for because he feels limited and that he can’t improve any further so there is nothing to work towards. It would be like winning the lottery and getting everything you could ever imagine what next, what could you offer a man that owns the world? What would improve his day? Nothing point is ,is that he is restricted by his money in the amount of happiness he can have. I have personally never experience love itself by which I’m mean loving another person besides family any friends. I have made love but it was not anything near the definition of love since I met the chick like 3 minutes before it happened. Me being a skeptic (because i was brought up around lies, damn Santa clause) I do not believe that love exists I have never felt it .but then you’d say something like you can’t touch air but its there. Bulls*%t I have come to two conclusions love is either non-existent or over exaggerated. But back to the main topic how does this hold us back? We spend the better part of our life looking for love (still am it’s like bigfoot to me) what could we have accomplished in the time it takes to comb our hair are wax our backs, could have cured cancer or aids by now(which I’m pretty sure the government has the cures to they make to much money$$ from it to want to cure it)I have resolved to stop searching for love and let it find me (if it exists) that seems like the best solution, Oh there is so much more I could write but I’ll wait for your responses to add them sorry in advance for the crude examples and bad spelling and grammar, but I apologize for nothing I said these are my opinions and I wouldn’t ask for an apologie for anyone if they disagreed or thought different than me, that’s what makes America great differences. | two words legalize it!!
If you dont smoke it wont harm you so why dont smokers and non smokers work together (of couse allowing the same restrictions as tobacco and alcohol to insure the livelihood of non-smokers )to legalize weed. Personally I used to smoke but quit ,due to academic responsibilities. Anyone else agree? |

| I think this would be a good place to post this .anyways im not good at programing yet .well i cant program anything yet but i can edit programs a bit . ive been working with icq lite and ive been editing with a hex editor and i got rid of the adds but im not sure how to do some other things like i put in my own banner but it was changed back to what it was after i restarted icq i do not know how to fix it either ,anyways i got the new banner and the link to work but why does it go back and how do i stop it .
p.s. post any good info on icq lite here exspecially if you know how to put your own games on the xtras games link. heres the pic of my edit .  sorry its so small thats as big as i could get it but i changed the banner to a porn thing and made it link to a porn site ,that was the easyest banner to find so dont judge me for using it lol.
well if anyone is interested in removing add banners from icq lite just get a hex editor and edit the file icqlite.exe it would be in the icq lite folder anyways the line to edit is at 2B8C98 fill the ascii word: LiteBannersActive. with 0's or the hex form 4C69 7465 4261 6E6E 6572 7431 6374 6976 6500 with 0's. i hope i wrote all that right im new to using hex if you couldnt tell . I hope this helps you if you hate the adds like i do.if this doesnt work right or screwes up icq on your computer tell me i would like to know.here the pic of icq lite without add banners 
if anyone knows what to delete to get rid of the adds off the contact list pleese tell me.
