| Try turning S.M.A.R.T. off and backing up the data. My dad has a drive that SMART says is bad... it apparently was referring to the SMART circuit itself. BTW, SMART shoudl be in the BIOS settings. | |||

| That's just stupid. Seriously, what do these people hope to gain from DRM? It doesn't work, because you can easily defeat it by paying once for it, and then reproducing it with DVD recorders or whatever, and for audio? Give me a break- you can defeat it with a 3.99 cord fmo your local electronics shop. Frankly, i think DRM is both a waste of time, money, and the efforts of PR departments all over. | |||

| By working on that program. Yeah, I can't host because I'm a part of the game. Anyways, yeah, it'll do most everything for Kattwah. And part of the update slowdown is probably because I dropped this game in the first palce.... and when I finish TPo100T Lite, it'll likely speed up some more, or at least make thigns easier for Kattwah. | |||

Pointing to where the shower way (well, the corner Alizabe had to take), Sukasa winced. "Anyways, if you give me a moment, I just need to take care of my foot, I cut it on some glass  "
As Sukasa got up, a small golden necklace showing three dolphins jumping together fell out of his shirt. Sukasa barely noticed, but he did and he inwardly hoped that Alizabe would notice it too, although he wasn't going to make any effort to have her notice it. Wavering lsightly from the fact that he couldn't put as much weight as normal on his left foot, he limped into the bathroom, and pulled out a larger-sized Band-Aid, leaving the door open because he had no reason to close it. |

| OOC: Kirbynite, I hope you don't mind if I expand this universe a little...
Sukasa was glad, if only to be able to talk about why the necklace was important to him. The reason why wasn't really all that nice though. After applying the Band-Aid, Sukasa came back and poured the noodles into the pot on the stove, before turning to Alizabe when she spoke to him. "This? I got it on vacation in the south. The three dolphins on it represent 'Ohana', which translates to 'Family'." Said Sukasa, tears forming in his eyes. "Now it's one of the only links I have to the rest of my family... They died when I was seven. It was a train accident, a derailment that sent half the train my family was on into a lake, more specifically, Spurn Lake near Eastyrn. They were in the cabin fro our family, but I'd gone to another car to play with a friend I met on the train. That's when the train derailed... My family's car was one of the ones on the bottom... There were no survivors from that car." Said Sukasa, conviction in his voice, which held a wavering tone. "Since then, I've lived on my own mostly, with a little help from the neighbors. So, I basically just keep this to myself... I always told myself I'd give it to the first person I felt I coudl really, really connect to." said Sukasa, fingering the necklace whilst lookign at it. At that moment, the doorbell rang. "I'll get that," Said Sukasa. "It's either Dracoon or an officer." Getting the door, Sukasa was met by a stern-looking Officer, who handed him two letters and grunted him a good day. Closing the door, Sukasa came back into the living room and handed the one marked 'Alizabe' to Alizabe, before tearing open the envelope marked for him. "Dear mister Sukasa. In response to events having taken place earlier this day, your location in the tourney has been switched to the second bracket, which begins five days from now. Please be advised that until then you are free to enter the pit. Have a good day. Lessee... it's signed the 'Tournament organizer'. Huh, I didn't expect them to handle that that quickly." | Yeah, that is more of a demo of the program's UI.
However, ASM woudl be faster if you just comparted block numbers and branched, unlike blocktool which does some crazy huge lkooping that isn't really needed. |

"Man, though... You never met your family?" Taking the pot off the stove and pouring it out through a strainer, Sukasa plopped the noodles into a bowl, except for a bit that he put on a plate and gave to Luminara, who promptly took it into another room. "To me, that's much harsher than having them die..." he said, wa;lking over to the chair he'd been in before. "I mean, I had a chance to know them... " Sukasa trailed off, looking down. She never even knew her family..? That would suck. I still know what my parents looked like... What would it be like ot have never known your parents? Sukasa wondered. Looking up, Sukasa took a bite of his noodles before turning to Alizabe again. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but what are your reasons for coming here for the tournament?" |

| "Ah. I... I don't really know what to say, though. From what you're telling me... I certainly can't blame you or Alizabe in the slightest... " Sukasa looked down. "I can't really understand that though- the way Alizabe was treated. That's really the first time I've ever heard of someone being treated that way, simply because of superstition... Though I have to admit, you certainly have done a good job of making her happy, judging by that smile, as it seemed pretty darn sincere to me..." Sukasa paused, yawning.
"I've only known Luminara for a couple of months now... I really did mostly just live on my own before that. I can't say though, that you needed to 'make it up' to Alizabe- you can't change your appearance, nor can you control the actions of others. That's... That's why I can't really blame myself for what happened nine years ago." Slouching down in his chair, Sukasa finished off his noodles. "I suppose I've sorta lived a secluded lifestyle, since I taught myself a lot of what I know. I don't regret it though. Anyways, thank you for trusting me enough to tell me the truth. I promise, I won't speak a word of this to anyone." Taking a breath, Sukasa changed his facial exp "You must be proud of her, though. From a position on the outside looking in, I can say that she is definitely very happy." |

That's when Alizabe walked back into the room. Not betraying a hint of knowledge as to what Dracoon had told him, Sukasa smiled at Alizabe. "that's good- You'll have plenty of time to get ready. Frankly, I think that's better than having to fight tomorrow, especially with what happened this morning.. . Jeez, I can't believe it only happened this morning. Anyways, before you ge too comfortable, do you want to sleep on the couch, or use the second bedroom here? This was the only available condo here, and a friend of mine put in a good word for me to get it. Anyways, it's more designed for two parents and a child, so there's another bed in it's own room, if you want that one instead. It's the room nex tot this one, behind the closed door." Sukasa got up, and placed his bowl in the sink, filling it with water before coming back to the chair and sitting down again. "Anyways.. You told me why you're here, sort of, so I think it owuld be fair for me to tell you why I'M here. Really, I had the summer off from school, and it turned out this tournament was going on. I never really came here to win, just to see how far I could go while having fun. I gues the biggest thign I wanted to do, though, was just make a friend or two. That's probably the biggest reason why I came here." |

| Having seen what appeared to happen to Smithy, Snipes wasted no time in getting into the elevator. Once inside along with JDavis, Snipes shook his head.
"Sheeit. So, I take it that Smithy just got squashed? Anyways, When we get there, I have a little plan." Handing three triangles with silvery sides off to JDavis, Snpeis looked him in the eye. "Place these around the room, facing the center of it and out of the way. I might be able to confuse his 'Mel' guy a bit. In case you're wondering, they're force-hologram projectors." |

| yeah. ZSNES WIP is the only ZSNES that allows you to access the controller input correctly from upper banks. I learned that the hard way with the conbtroller override. just get the latest WIP of ZSNES and try that. | |||

| Sukasa sat stunned by Alizabe's words, as process of elimanation had left only one possibility for what she seemed to be talkign about. She already considers me a friend..? In a slightly detached state, Sukasa quietly got up, and padded off to his bedroom. Waking Luminara up, Sukasa watched as she left, presumably to go wherever she slept, closed the door, and eventually settled into a quiet sleep.
