I charge my family. If I don't, then they'll take advantage of me, and I'll be expected to be free-computer-fixing-person on every other spare weekend.

Which I do - NOT - want.

So I charge. I don't care if they're family; I don't charge them much anyway -- just enough to keep them from abusing the situation.

Although my step-grandfather has worked out that it's hard for me to insist on charging for phone support.... so he tries to get me to help over the phone where possible. I like it when I have to actually visit... I get money that way.

Ouch. I have to do my family's computer system and my mom's laptop whenever they break down. For free.

And then my dad dislikes me using it and won't let me pur anyhting on it, and my brother can put whatever on it and use MSN, which is supposed to be a big hole for viruese/worms/whatever I've heard. I never really found that to be very fair.

But for other people, I charge $30 an hour. mostly because I'm a student and still learning.

Never had a bomb threat... Nasty though.

But yeah, why bomb the school building anyways? All you'll do is cost taxpayers a lotta money... unless you blow up the assembly area. Frankly, in a bomb threat there shoudl be multiple assemly areas, just in case.

Kailieann got it right.

Anyways, I really used to hate always having to screw around with blocktool whenever I needed to add in a block someone else already made, or a bunch of them, like the custom block .zip file that contained lots of extra blocks... So I'm adding support for a 'BlocksPorter' file format that can allow BTO to automatically import blocks and their database information without you having to do much.

Like the idea? It's almost done as-is! I just have to figure out why the property "list2.selected", where list2 is a listbox with it'sstyle property sert to checkboxes says "arguement not optional"... god, I hate not having MSDN on my home computer >8(

EDIT: Basically got blocksPorter working perfectly. gotta test it out some more before I pronounce it done.

However, it will still only support one .bin at a time, although if say, you have three blocktool entires that use block.bin, all three of those entries can be ported in one file, since the block they use is the same throughout.

You're welcome

BTW, can you send me any blocks you make that you think would be good for inclusion in BTO? I'd appreciate it muchly.

If the file is in the same folder as your project, you would be better of using "App.path + mzme.dll" ", so tha tmovign the folder or whatever won't break mzme.

if you can, you might be well off putting the drive into another comptuer and then erasing the affected file, and replacing it with a clean version. I hear laptop -> IDE adapters aren't too hard to find, if you ned that as well.

HyperHacker's Pixelbounce screen saver that he made and hosted on his site... unfortunately, it only covers one screen on my computer, and not the other one.

@Anya: I thought the point of a screensaver was to avoid burn-in on your screen...

What a day. Jeez, I remember learning about that *just* as I was getting ready to go to school. I remember that we were banned from discussing it at the local elementary that day...

What were you doing that morning, and how did you react to the news o fthe terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center buildings?

"Sounds good Interesting story. Anyways, do you have any good energy packs? I need to recharge my gun, and it takes a very long time when it's ahving to produce it's own power... Actually, I'm pretty proud of it. I made it myself- it's a small-scale antimatter generator . That's what caused the explosion in the back of the robot Guass was driving. Don't worry though, it's safe."

A little surprised at Smithy's stealing one of his antimatter pistols, Snipes stared at him.

"Hey! Next time, ask. Anyways, if you're doing what I think you are, thanks. Just make sure your techs don't hit the red button under the plastic lid with an explosion symbol on it, otherwise things might get a lttle messy."

Grumbling and shaking his head, Snipes pulled off his backpack and swung it around. Zipping it open, Snipes thrust his hand inside. after searchign around for a bit, Snipes pulled out another antimatter pistol and holstered it. "This one is a ltitle better though, it's got a piezoelectric generator, ThermoPhotoVoltaic cells, and solar cells to power it's recharger. it works much better than my other one, but it's a little less powerful," he said, looking straight at Smithy. "So, what 's on floor sixty?"

Try rebuilding the .dll or whatever. I just had a similar problem, and regsvr32.exe couldn't register the .dll, because it turned out to be bad. mayeb that's the problem with mzme.dll?
