Holy Shit. Well, that's just sexy.

Apart from the issues already said, I have one suggestions: Make the snow lots of little 1x1 or 2x2 pixel blobs, and have them float down in a back-and-forth pattern. It'd be a little harder to do, but it would look much better.

Oops, my bad.

And yeah, it's by bitmart. $31.70 USD for the final purchase or Restorer2000 3.0.

Very nice looking hack, guys. I like the way Jesus is there... but I hope that he never just calls lightning down on everyone else just to get ahead... Hey, there's an idea for a possible hard version power - lightning attack on you or somethign, a bit like the attacks the other CPU racers use in GP mode. And yeah, that Rainbow-road themed one is fugly to the extreme. The other tracks are FTW though.

There's a nice couple of waterparks in my area, one is a saltwater park (yay for beaches next to it), so the water's always fresh, and they don't use chlorine there, and the other is a large waterslide park. The waterslide park also has a small waterpark in it for young kids, and is seriously WIN.

Yeah, The ROM hacking forum was excluded because some higher-profile hackers didn't want to (I guess wouldn't) go through the aprroval process, and so the forum was left as is so they wouldn't be excluded.

I personally thought the ROM hacking forum should also have been approval only, but... I guess we'll just see how it goes.

I could see that sorta working with a few adjustments... Just make the top magnet larger and stringer, and have the small bar magnets arranges so that they are pulled up by the large magnet on one end, and shoved down on the other, and then have the fan be changed to a rotary disc that's not gogn to be fighting the wind.

I think FuSoYa once sad that he'd continue development on LM if we could just find enough bugs or anything... and I have a glitch in LM as well, albeit a small one: The wave tile for the overworld is animated in the wrong direction. While it appears to move one direction in Lm, it actually moves the other way in SMW.

Anyways, yeah- just have a program allow you to copy the compressed version of the sprite GFX to their uncompressed versions in the ROM - not quite instant compatibility, and it'd look wrogn in LM, but it's realy as close as you're gonna get.

I am, but I don't know anything at all about C or C++, just VB6.

But I suppose if you asked, FuSoYa might be willing to help out with the project by giving us information on the addendums to the SMW level format he made.

Well, perhaps I can help with the 65816 ASM side of an open-source editor.

And... I know other attempts at this have failed, but all we need to do is *not* giv eup this time. Just keep going, and there shouldn't be a problem.

Shop items shouldn't be too hard at all. if you can get a cheat code that lists out how to say, give yourself five apples and ninety-nine oranges, and know that there is a shop that sells oranges and apples (in that order), then you may want to search for the ID for oranges, followed by the ID for apples.

Posted on 08-19-06 03:27 AM, in My CD-ROM drives won't work, HELP! Link
This... is fucking shitty. For some reason, Windows 98SE isn't recognizing my CD-ROM drives anymore... However, my BIOS (PheonixBIOS Release 4.0 release 6.0.B) recognizes the CD-ROM disks every boot... becuase it's set to auto-detect all my drives for now. Also, whenever Windows is booting up, I get a couple of long pause where the cycling palette at the bottom of the boot loader image just stops. Around the same time, my Master CD-ROM drive also stpops responding until the boot loader unfreezes.

Now, I checked the System dialog in Control Panel, and according to the error message for the Secondary IDE channel, I've got a code 11 on that particular piece of hardware - Either it isn't there, it's bad hardware, or it's got no drivers... however, it IS there and functiosn for the BIOS, and the driverfs are installed; they're the same files as the drivers for the Primary IDE channel, which is working fine.

Now, I had a similar problem with my Primary IDE channel a while back; it too had an error, but it was less severe and only the Slave HDD would not be recognized.

I've recently installed a Zip 100 drive and Restorer2000 onto this computer, would either of them be the culprit? TWICE, and only twice after I installed the Zip drive did the CD-ROM drives appear, and they were drives F:\ and G:\. IS it possible that this is a Windows driver / Iomega driver issue? There are no conflicting device errors with the IDE channels or their controller... And please help, because my floppy drive doesn't work either, and I have onyl one Zip drive, which means that that computer can't do any file work, 'cept over a network to another comptuer without the CD-ROM drive problem (just a hit-or-miss CD-ROM drive I haven't gotten around to replacing yet that won't work). Oh, adn taht otehr PC has a faulty floppy drive too for the moment... I think that one's disconencted.
