I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. I worked there for a week, and promptly quit. It's one of the worst places in the world TO work. Slave labor. They put someone like me who is like...not strong at all in the STOCK room, and then I complained about that and then they just kind of left me on the sales floor with no supervisor or guidance or anything and gave me weird hours, so I said fuck that. | |||

No, it's not very long, but it's like a time warp that sucks you in. it's AMAZING.
Once you start it, you can't stop! =O |

So, I don't know how many of you actually are addicted to this farming sim like me, but I LOVE the new one out for DS, and I'm just kind of appalled at the latest reviews and stuff for it and the dismissal that the graphics are the same as the GBA versions.
It's definitely the best Harvest Moon I've played since the original SNES ones. Then again, I could say I'm biased since I love the SNES feel of GBA/DS games. At any rate, I really like it and I think you should all go get it since it's a fantastic way to pass the time when you have some free time and not much else to do. |

You know, I can't imagine why most women work there. Their crappy insurance doesn't even cover maternity. Seriously, it's like they steal money out of your pocket and call that insurance, a lot like CVS actually. My CVS insurance didn't even pay for me to go to the doctor once, which I think was ridiculous.
At any rate, when they give you the booklet on insurance, it's basically a list of all these things that they WON'T cover. |

yeah seriously! XDDDD
You farm, gather things, make friends with the townsfolk, AND MARRY HOT CHICKS how can you say there's nothing to do!? XD in the girls version, which is still in Japan, instead of a husband, you can opt for a " best friend *coughGIRLFRIENDcough*" but you have to get the BIG BED and expand your house and then you have a "friendship ceremony" XD I perosnally think it is amazing. |

LAWL. I made $7/hr at Gamestop, and only $7.5/hr at wal-mart. I remember seeing applications like that when I worked at gamestop, and the people would write in short hand and yeaaah. XD
At CVS, I made..8.25 and I was doing like overtime all the time and was basically playing manager sine my flake of a manager never showed up, but the other shift got more money and what have you, and I always ended up having to take his shifts. |

Originally posted by Nebetsu Nah, I liked game stop, they treat you pretty decently and I really felt like...the coworkers were family? XD Until the ASM started hitting on me and junk. Well, he hit on me before he was an ASM, SOOO yeah. That caused a little bit of a problem The problem IS finding a retail job that gives hours. |

Don't die! I ate raw bacon all the time as a kid, and rarely, raw hamburger meat. I was a RISK TAKER. But man, I liked it a lot. XD |

Originally posted by Yoshi Dude It's a little slower, but not nearly slow really. Like, I can water tons of crops, go find this lady I'm trying to woo, give her presents, gather herbs/grasses/etc, AND if I wanted, go dig in the mines! The only thing I hated about the SNES one was if you went to bed later...like anytime after 7, it'd cut some of your hours off, but not so in this one. I love it! And yeah, I guess progressive is the word. Except, the only ones you can have "best friends" with are the Harvest Goddess herself, the Witch Princess, the princess of the mines - 255 floors down , and the mermaid. XD Lawl. |

Originally posted by Colin From what both of my managers told me, they kind of are exempt, because not only do they have the whole store to run, nevermind them trying to get quotas. And I ended up quitting because of that. If I didn't do so hot one week, I'd go from getting the most hours in the store (around 21) to like...11. But I think the manager was partial to me because of my circumstances, and such. |

LOL!
Brian's always had a temper, plain and simple. Trust me, I'd know. But he's probably left b/c of Real Life? Sad, but true! I think Mesia's in school. I don't know, I live pretty near here these days, but we were friends and she said stuff to Brian about me behind my back cause I guess she was all in LURVE with him or something, and then they had plans to meet with him coming down to good old Georgia. XD XD Apparently, at the last minute she got cold feet and shut down al communication with him. But that's just what you heard from this baby killing, fortune reading heathen of a LUSTY woman! with a tool for a boyfriend to boot! What do I know? |

PHEW, a mouthful.
Anyways, How many of you guys have this? Thoughts? I'm a HUGE SMT fan and this kind of snuck up on me, but it's amazing. It's not your traditional RPG, it's more like an action RPG. An action RPG vs. Phoenix wright. XD You play as this devil summoner dude who just happens to be the 14th person of the Kuzunoha Clan of summoners to get the name Raidou. You end up solving mysteries by using various demons you collect in battle. You have the ability to fuse two demons together like in prior SMT installments, but this wasn't found in Digital Devil Saga. At any rate, I think it's amazing. I really like the 1920s feel it has and the historical references and I'm pretty sure that this will tide me over until Persona 3 in February~. |

Mannequins are pretty expensive, like 1 - 3 hundred dollars. I know, because I was looking at one for my site.
It's not unheard of though. They make a killing off selling sex dolls in japan...it's super creepy. |
