Well, I wouldn't mind, seeing as how it either gets fixed or I buy a new one. Thing is, if I fix it myself, I was have some many chances of destroying it. If I buy a new one, I cannot resell my current one, I would just get crap (so many scratches and stuff = no resell value).

Either, we can discuss this in PMs, if you'd like.

That's generally what I do. Except you know, I never worked with electronics before.

I would've already opened my DS if I had the right stuff around me.


EDIT: Let's say that currently I feel like it's the flop at Texas Hold 'Em. Enough cards to have an idea of how to play, but not enough card to actually know if you made the right play.

Oh, I've found a little toy that will do the trick. Also found a place where I can buy said toy.

It's the DSLinker, and I've confirmed from whom I buy it from that I can infact use it to install FlashMe.

(oh and my DS is v2, but it doesn't make much difference now)

But the PSP was also said to be "pretty much shit unless you want it for the homebrew/emulation" and almost no one I know has one unless they use it mostly for emulating older consoles.
