| First off, Im a noob to all of this so please don't get mad if my questions seem dumb to you.
I am trying to apply some .lips hacks that i got to Super Mario All-Stars+World with the Lunar ips program. when i apply it, the program says it was successful, but when I run it on the ZSNES, it gets to the Screen Were the Mario Golden Coin thingy should be, but its just black with a bunch of writing. I noticed it said “Checksum:Fatal” instead of “Checksum:OK” and I Know that is the problem. However, I don’t know how to fix this. Maybe there is something I did wrong when I loaded it up? I know im going to get a bunch of replies about how stupid im being and that im a dumba$$, but please just give me an answer and spare me the chastisement thanks  (edited by jesus on 03-10-06 12:24 AM) |

| What the f***? It only has 924 bytes! It might be that the .lips file im using is ment for SMW but im using it on Super Mario All-Stars+world but that has SMW on it...
Anyway The Patch IS .lips. I downloaded the Lunar .ips thing off the Lunar Magic site. Im Going To Try downloading the SMW rom and try the patch on that. (edited by jesus on 03-12-06 11:01 PM) |

| ok that fixed it for all the patches I got but demo world TLC. i dont know what is up with that one. unfortunantly, the first one I played was SMW hell edition. that was some bad luck! I dont know how anyone could possibly beat the game in that (without using the level select room of course!) I sucessfully beat 1 level WITH level select and that level was the one where the entrence and exit were the same pipe! I found that my favorite patch so far is SMW the second reality. Im currently stuck at the ghost houce called Kamek's Trap.
So basicly, I need help getting demo world TLC to work and finding hacks that arent impossible (i hear super mario universe is good but i cant find it) (btw, if you are lame and want me to get the hacks myself just tell me witch ones to get) (edited by jesus on 03-12-06 11:02 PM) |

| Ive got 3 questions:
1) is there a FAQ or something for SMW:TLC. Im stuck at the desert pyramid in world 2. there doesnt seem to be an exit beside the stupid ball and chain room wich i assume leeds to the secret exit. 2) as lazy as this sounds, dont get in my face, is there a tutoriul for how to do basic things in lunar magic. I know nothing about hacking and the only editors i am ok at are the Unreal Editor and Maya 7: PLE (i cant afford to buy a $99999999 program that i can get a limitless free trial of. 3) why is it that people obsess over making SMW hacks as close to impossible as they can? If you Hack that game please don't make the beggining levels so hard that I have to spend forever on 1 level and then not get to save. please help me if you can, me |

| I found a tutoriul, but its in a different language (either spanish or french i am not sure witch.) I used the translator on google but the english is so bad its hard to understand. could I get a translator for this please?
