I tired a few time to make such custom sprite but never manage to , that why I make it that way, so I could have new power-up, without having to add sprite

| you will have to learn the SPC-700 ASM wich is more tricky that the 65816, because:
1.there isn't a lot of SPC-700 (dis)assambler around here 2.I don't renember seeing any debugger that can trace it 3.all hex value for oppcode are way different from the 65816(and 6502) one the only thing I could do to help you is that doc found on Zophar: link Good luck (edited by Bio on 05-20-06 10:48 PM) |

I already tried to, but it was buggy, mainly because throw block were either appearing in Mario hand or already moving, I should try again someday

| now that I think about it, the motion problem could be fixed by storing zero at X speed before making the sprite change in a throw block, just need to fix the mario hand stuff and It should work fine (edited by Bio on 05-21-06 01:02 AM) |

you can still add ExGFX if you really need more map16 page you can:
1. re-use some of the map16 page(organisation is the key) 2. use a ASM hack to make it so a different map16 data is loaded in some level(DON'T bug me to do it) (edited by Bio on 05-21-06 09:06 PM) |
