I assume everything on the overworld still works like it should, like picking up the bushes will make them vanish in either layer? I don't how far you are along with it, but it's looking nice. I wouldn't ever expect to see Quest for Calatia actually cancelled, and it will eventually be released, but it may be after all the other hacks in the works have either been released or been cancelled themselves. What I get from GameMakr24 is that he's extremely intent on completing his hack, to the point where he's not about to just cancel it. He really just doesn't have enough free time to work quickly, especially when he's primarily working alone. (edited by Reshaper256 on 07-19-06 02:00 PM) |

Sweet. Spin for a J.
Oh, and a question - can Y be guessed with a spin, or can I only buy it, or can I do either? (edited by Reshaper256 on 07-19-06 07:16 PM) |

Otherwise, no deal. |

Has anyone ever made a simple hack of SMB that switched out players (in a two player game) both when you died *and* whenever one player beat a level? I never play it with anyone anymore because I know the game too well and, quite frankly, usually have to kill myself on purpose to let the other player have a turn. It'd be a lot more fun to make it switch back and forth so both players got to play, regardless of skill.
If no one has done that, I think it'd be a nice hack idea. |

Although I'm neither a SMW hacker nor a Pokemon hacker, I'd still like to be able to comment on posts without having to wait to be approved whenever I decide something is worth commenting on. So I'll go ahead and ask for approval now. I've been around here for a few years, and I've worked with Zelda 3 more than any other game - there are a few threads you can see where I've made some fairly simple ASM hacks:
