Of course it's true. As long as there's no majority in congress that will allow an investigation into price gouging, there's going to be price gouging. If they're really raising oil-prices in an amount proportionate to how much the cost for them is going up per barrel, would they be making such huge record profits? Yeah... you probably need to work on that 9.
I just played through the demo - it's actually not bad. There were some spots that I felt were kinda cheap such as the first pipe you can go up in the second level that can put you right into an enemy, with no warning, and a few jumps that are awkwardly placed so that you end up falling in a hole for no good reason. Overall, however, it was pretty good. I felt like I was playing 'new' levels, instead of 'edited' levels, if that makes sense to you. Keep it up - just try to avoid putting in 'cheap' stuff, and try to work around things that are making the game glitch up if you can. |

Bonus 3:
Find the weight of one of the pennies. Pour out the pennies for a second, and find the weight of the jar. Put the pennies back in the jar, and find the weight of the whole system. Subtract the weight of the jar. Divide by the weight of the single penny, fo find the number of pennies. |

I'd have to agree with MON. I tend to steer clear of next-gen console emulation myself, in most of its forms - the most recent thing I've emulated was a GBA, and that was just once to see how well it actually worked. I'm not sure why it doesn't interest me, it just doesn't, and I think most people around here probably wouldn't be interested in PSP hacking. I don't think it's a bad topic - you may yet find some people here who are interested - but this is probably the wrong community to bring this to.
We've sort of got the "old school gamer" thing going on, I guess. |

Yes, that's one of the nastiest things I've heard in a while. The only thing I can say is that I'm glad the child will have no memory of that. Hopefully she'll grow up without ever knowing that happened to her.

Maybe it means that both L's are out of place, but there could still actually be only one in the word. I can't find any word spelled with the letters:

The mushroom with the black outline looks great against the light blue background, in the fifth screen, but it looks sort of... pale... with blue outline, in the second screen. Also, that the new GFX for the floor tiles would probably get on my nerves after awhile.
That's just me, though. |

Hmm...
What do you know already? Have you just been using game-specific editors so far, or have you messed with hex-editing? Do you already have any understanding of how ASM works? If you've never messed with ASM coding before, you'd be better off trying to change something much more simple to start with. Go get Geiger's SNES9x Debugger and play around with it - that's the best advice I can think of. |

You keep referring to homosexuality as though it were a religion - and of course it's not, it's a sexual orientation. What you mean when you say "teaching homosexuality" is actually teaching tolerance of other sexual orientations, which should definitely be allowed in schools. Teachers are not supposed to endorse any religion, but they *can* endorse the secular concept of tolerating other sexual orientations, which is what the teacher in question was doing when he read this book to his class. I have to admit that I, myself, would feel uncomfortable upon hearing that my child had been read this book, but that is because of my own, Christian *religious* beliefs. I would not have those beliefs imposed on the teacher or the students in the classroom. Teaching the tolerance of homosexuality or homosexuals (or simply tolerance of anyone who believes something you don't) isn't teaching religion - it may fly in the face of some religions, but there's nothing wrong with that.
And there's also nothing wrong with mentioning that "Christians believe this..." or "Muslims believe that..." as long as it's done on a purely factual basis, without religious motive. It's part of a teacher's role to teach children about other cultures, including their religions, and to rid children of their ignorance and intolerance without actually imposing other religions on them. |

Anyone else carpool? I've driven my girlfriend to college every single day that we had classes this year, so we split the cost of the gas. It's about a forty-mile drive round-trip.
