Wow, you're good. If I'd known you were gonna modify your patch, I would have asked for more. Like for instance, making Mario gain more height when pressing A. Also, if there could be a height limit on jumping. (So that the player cant just float over the entire level. )
Oh, and if the falling speed could be increased as well. lol

But seriously, don't do this. Don't give me yet another reason to start a hack that I will most surely not finish.

You sure do like hammer bros. I really like the graphic changes. The big chests and bushes look really good. I have to say though, the raining hammers in level 3 put me off big time. I can't see myself chain-savestating my way through that craziness. But at least your hack has inspired me to go back to my SMB3 hack.

Umm, I don't think Drag's intention was to make a playable hack. He said,

He was just practicing/showing off/proof of concepting his ASM skills. This could be used as a base hack. You are right in saying that these new physics break the conventional "Mario" level. One would most definitely have to design levels very differently then any other Mario hack. (Adding a roof to the whole level for starters)

Drag also only added the minimal animations to show off the fact that he freaking added animations to SMB1!..lol Again, I don't think he was trying to be the next Michelangelo of spriters.

And mark my words Drag, as soon as I finish my 2 RPG Maker XP projects, 2 more Gamemaker 6 projects, 3 Nes hacks, and 1 SNES hack...and finish organizing my file cabinet, you bet your ass I will use your hack as a base for my new SMB1 hack.

See you in 5 years...

Hey, this is pretty cool. I like how you used all your custom blocks. Level design is pretty nice too on those non-linear ones. There were a couple spots where you can get stuck and have to reset the game. Also, there are quite a few trampoline jumps where Mario jumps up really high and the camera doesn't scroll up. A little heavy lag in the second level too.

But overall, I liked your demo. I tiny bit too hard sometimes, as long as it doesn't get too much harder later on that would be nice. 8/10

Cool, this is really neat. Pretty unique and fun. I can definitely see myself playing this for hours on end. Is anyone else addicted to "Upgrading equipment?" hehe Great find Gideon Zhi Very fun.

Just like RPG Maker XP, my Gamemaker shortcut icon has been sitting on my desktop for a damn good while, collecting virtual dust. NO more I say! I whipped up this little game to validate that shortcut's existence. (Yes, I know the game is prertty simple and non-epic, I am a Gamemaker apprentice/noOb)

You are lost in space. You must navigate twisting mazes and avoid hostile intruders. Collect a laser weapon and fight back. Later levels contain patches of "Chaos Space." Chaos Space heavily affects your ship's navigational control, further hampering your journey. Along your adventure, you will encounter hostile alien ships. These ships are heavily fortified and very maneuverable.
