Ok, here is the situation. I would like to change the big boo into a single 64x64 sprite. However, several tiles are used twice (and mirrored). What I would like to do is to take the mouth and eyes tiles seen here:



And use them instead of the dupicated tiles (as you can see I have already started to edit the sprite). In order to do this, I would need to disable the mouth and eyes animation. If someone could point me to the hex address that point to the assembly tiles themselves, that may be sufficient for me to get started on this (unfortunately I don't have Windows so I cannot use a debugger). Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure 184F8 is the start of the Big Boo animation? I tried changing rom addresses in that area, and it caused the rom to be completely screwed up and not run at all.

Ah, I see now. Since I am using an already edited rom, the starting address was changed to 182F8. Thanks.
