I've been told I am way too pretty-boyish! LOL!!

Because I tan, I put on face cream, sometimes I wear pink (in a non-girly way of course) and I groom and manage my eyebrows. LOL

So I would like you guys to tell me what you think...

I know it's kind of a silly subject...

...perhaps I'm a metrosexual

Whatever the hell they want is what they should do. I appear as a manly man, what with my rugged beard, close cropped hair (gone are the good days) and stuff along those lines. Take heed that I do get pedicures and I do pluck my eyebrows. But I don't buy ideas of dudes needing to conform to any set role with regards to these things. It doesn't make you any less of a man if you put on some foundation.

I giggle "like a school girl", I'm told. True. I giggle more than them, in fact. In Maths lessons. ~~ I also comb my hair loads, I find it quite relaxing. Longish hair. Luff. I don't like shaving and I don't pluck anything.

In my mind, I'm thinking there's nothing we *should*n't do, well, because of gender, I mean, but there are plenty of things people mostly *would*n't do. Walking around in only knickers and bras in changing rooms whilst applying mascara is something most wouldn't do. I'm told this is what happens at school in the girls' toilets.

Meh. Do what you want. My brother exfoliates and puts face cream on, and he fusses over his hair, (which I really don't get, it's shaved so short as that you can't do anything with it).

I just wish he'd pluck his eyebrows.

In my case, I try to split my mono in two every week if possible.
But it's pretty much the only aesthetical thing I do to myself besides shaving.

My brother needs to get rid of his monobrow. I don't mind the fact that his eyebrows are thick, what weirds me out is how they're almost ONE eyebrow.

When I go get my hair cut, I have the barber trim my eyebrows.

I also shave every single hair off of my body.

Actually. I simply shave my legs. Old habit when I decided to run. The fact is that I have hairy legs so I really couldn't see the muscle development, so I hacked it off. I still shave for the reason of me weight lifting and such.

Plus it simply looks better for me.

I used to have a "one-eyebrow" growing up, but when i got older I decided to not be an ugly dude anymore.... guess what??? it worked! I started getting responses!! So my theory is that if you want to be "in" you had better look good, because that's how people think in this day...

But you don't have to be "in", so it's pretty much up to people to do whatever the hell they want to do with their body. I, for my part, just shave my beard nothing else. I leave the rest of my body hair (except my mono-eyebrow) intact, I wouldn't like the way I'd look without it.

You know... you're right. But maybe having to look good only applied to my life, because growing up ugly, no one would give me the time of day, but when I totally started working with everything to look good, I suddenly got a wave of attention; so maybe it's just me.... kind of reflects the story of the ugly duckling....LOL

No girl I've ever met has gone for a guy who has absolutely no body hair. Most guys I know who shave anything other than their face do so to allow their muscle definition to show more clearly, and I think that's more vanity than anything; girls like at least a bit of chest hair in most cases, and the absence of hair in other areas - legs, especially, but arms and other parts to a lesser extent - seem to be a turnoff or, at the very least, have no effect in either direction.

In any case, it's really not practical for a lot of people to shave their entire bodies. Not to be vulgar but, I mean, do you know what it's like to shave your butt hair? I don't know firsthand, but I've heard enough horror stories to stay far away from it...

It shave between my eyebrows every day, and do the usual showering, using deodorant, and brushing the teeth deal, but I'm not really a fan of any sort of grooming beyond that. I'll shave my face once a week, sometimes more or less, because I don't have any real motivation to go through that tedious process every day. I've been blessed with relatively clear skin, so face creams and whatnot have not been an issue, and any other sort of product extends too far into the feminine realm to appeal to me. Hey, I don't even think girls should wear makeup, so why should I?

Swimmers and runners can shave parts of their body to reduce "drag". Not that it matters so much now in the days of those all-body swimsuit things, and such, but when I was growing up in the surf club, some swimmers would shave (or even wax) legs and chests prior to important meets (ie, State Titles). Sprinters did it too.

I don't know if it gives them any significant advantage or if the advantage in their situations was purely psychological though After members of their own team have finished calling them a girl of course

Meh, but I don't mind a guy with some body hair, just not a big fuzzy chewbacca thing Just enough hair is very.... sexy...

Doesn't mean that men can't look after themselves though with regards to the monobrow. Just make it two eyebrows guys!!
