I'm starting to work on my own message board now-a phpbb- and I'm planning out all the different ranks right now. I'd like to use animated images, but I am pretty sure I need some sort of animated gif maker or something.
Does anyone know of any good ones? Particularly free, and don't have any adware in them. I'd be very appreciative of your help. |

Try Jasc Animation shop which is really good or gif animagic also try camtasia studio 3.0 to or higher to capture animation also be aware that you must know how to setup a good FPS rate for Nice quality. | |||

The only one I've ever used is Jasc Animation Shop 3 (yes, I know the program is rather old), but that requires to to either pay for registration after a certain amount of time, or find some way to bypass the "your trial time is up" screen, so it wouldn't work for you.
After doing a quick google search for "free animated gif makers". This link led to a site with information about a program called "UnFREEz". I downloaded it, and put several .gif files into the list, and it seems to work alright (although there's no previewing function, so you'll have to save the file then open it to see what it looks like), so you could give that a try Looking a bit further, this site has another gif animation program that might be of use to you. It includes a previewing function as well, so it might be worth a look. Note that both of those programs just have to be unzipped, or even run from inside the zip file - you don't have to install anything.Hopefully one of those two is of use to you |

Microsoft GIF Animator works pretty good too. |
