Very nifty. The only thing that puts me off is the beach/sea scrolling. Maybe I'm just used to the hundreds of paralax layers on Mega Drive games.

More screenshots of YIKR, this time I'm showing 3-7: and no, this isn't an April Fools Day joke, the day is just a coincidence.

Nothing too fancy looking. This is just showing off that I can edit the TSA in Castlevania 2 thanks to some info Mega Dog gave me, and me not being lazy and using the search function on my hex editor. |

Pretty good, chairs should stand out more (Make them the same color as the table).

I plan on doing that once I figure out the attribute table data, which might not be for a while.

You should also make it so that you can see background through them, rather than black. I know it looks that way for the stairs, but that's excuseable because of the way it is set up (ie: transitions from brick to black are used).

A screenie of my Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Hack. It's the first level of my hack, codenamed Diddy Hack. I estimate my editor will be released to the public around the release date of the Revolution, so why not learn ASM hacking and attempt to make your own?! |

I would, believe me, but I'm not going to tell anyone anything about it until I feel it is necessary (when someone brings up a topic, then I'll explain everything.) Until then, people will just have to wait.

@ giangurgulo: The IPS patched just fine, but ZSNES crashes whenever I try to load the ZST.
@ Chainlink1061: That screenshot is fake. You would've fooled me if not for a few minor details: Those dark green pixels I've highlighted are remnants of the original background. (edited by Mattrizzle on 04-09-06 09:04 PM) |

I'm pretty sure data on DKC2 was posted at some point in the past, but I don't recall level data ever being a part of it. The topic escapes me, however.

If I recall, that date was DKC. Or was there DKC2 data as well?

Originally posted by Imajin No. Although there is a DKC data topic (here), I'm certain that there was a topic containing DKC2 data on the second incarnation. Hold on, I'll see if I can find it. EDIT: Shazam! Click here, here and here for great justice! It's not much (only data relating to music), but... (edited by asdf on 04-09-06 09:22 PM) (edited by asdf on 04-09-06 09:22 PM) |
