Even so, you rarely saw the knife and it simply doesn't compare to the other mechs and stuff. And also, as we all know, Gundam cockpits are in the chest(except for Turn A, among others) so how the hell could Trowa not be affected by those booming vulcans overhead?

0079 may have not been bloody but it did certainly have its fair share of deaths.

And even if the majority of the deaths in Zeta Gundam were in the last few episodes, it's still pretty damn hard to tell who's gonna die.

There's a reason why Yoshiyuki "Kill em All" Tomino earned such a moniker.(Good Read)

Since this is a thread about Gundam, I just wanted to mention that I can't wait until this game comes out.(beware of spoilers!) Hopefully it'll be released in the states...(the only unreleased US title in there is ZZ but that didn't stop MSG vs. Zeta)

Even though Tomino's not gonna have anything to do with another Gundam work, I hope that Victory wasn't the last era.(G Saviour didn't count after "negative fanbase reactions")

In other news, Namco Bandai bought out Banpresto. Hmm, makes me wonder about what will happen to the SRW franchise. (other than it not coming to the states)

Although I enjoy anime in general, my knowledge of the subject doesn't run too deep. Still, I try to see what I can. Gundam Wing is probably my favorite, and Endless Waltz was especially great.

I used to have all the episodes, too bad my hdd crashed

Gundam X was my favorite. I started with Wing, watched 08th MS team, cought 80 and 83, then War in the pocket. X was the one that spoke most to me about the horrors of war, and how it is vain foolishness. ALthough, 08th MS team was a close second. That one was pretty close to vietnam with giant robots.

What I wonder is what they'll add that is "new" to gundam now that Seed Destiny has gotten up to Victory Gundam level technology and there's really nothing more modern than the I-Field shields etc in it. No matter if they continue UC or make an alternate universe, they probably have to come up with something new . (Although I GUESS they could make Crossbone Gundam, and that would rock).

Well, I'm sure there's something else they can come up with. You never really "run out" of ideas for crazy technology to use if you're the Gundam team, I think.

Well you don't have the surround camera technology. It's totally fucked up like that. They can have armor that reflects lasers and other stupid shit, but... naw, forget it. I'm not starting this again. It's not worth it.

I downloaded an ISO of climax UC.

I'll play it after i Finish Another Century's Episode 2 (which, by the way, is a kickass mecha game, much, much, better than the first title in the series).

and by finish ACE2, i mean unlock every goddamn thing in there.

and on another note: I'm interested in Stargazer. Hopefully it won't suffer from what SEED and Destiny suffered from.

Either way, Strike Noir is awesome because its piloted by a guy that looks like Zengar from SRW.

Well, I don't think Kira Yamato is in Stargazer, so right there it won't suffer from what SEED and Destiny suffered from

A bit more accurately, perhaps, I don't think Fukuda or his wife are very involved with it.

Both of them in the same level? That's rough, but it's kind of par for the course with that particular battle. SD Gundam G Next, for example, has a Char's Counterattack scenario, in which Neo-shit is WAY overpowered.

I can only beat that mission on easy. D: and that's because for some reason Sazabi glitches out. and doesn't do ANYTHING at all after a certain point.

Old news, broham.

"It 's not much, but still worth mentioning. In the recent Nikkei Characters! issue, Yasuo Miyakawa, a Sunrise board member, commented, "UC fans are probably looking forward to a new series. We can't promise when (it will be released), but we promise to deliver one. Please look forward to it. " Never the less, add one more person from Bandai/Sunrise promising a new UC series."

I flooded my friend's myspace with bad acguy photoshops.

it was amusing.

and i loved Acguy before he was a cult classic.

Seriously, he was one of my best in Gundam Battle Assault 1/2

This new SEED Stargazer thing that's coming out doesn't have Kira or Lacus, and doesn't have Fukuda or his wife working on it, from what I can tell. I think the SEED universe is decently interesting, but those four factors can screw it up royally. I have high hopes for this series if I've understood these things correctly.
