I did what the instructions on that page said until i get to part 3 and it says to insert bin file into block tool. How do I insert an bin file into block tool? It makes no sense cause it keeps saying "Table, file or directory does not exist" (edited by Soulblader88 on 03-26-06 08:20 PM) |

Are you putting the name of the .bin file into the proper spot in BlockTool? Are the blocktool files and the bin file in the same directory? Do they have their own block numbers?

Set the block number (you have to enter the decimal version of the block numbers you wish to yse - use windows calculator to do the conversion), open up your ROM using BlockTool, and hit save.

When you press "Add Block", you will be prompted for the block you want to insert (choose the SMB3 Pipe) and the block number. Put the block number there.

What? Oh, sorry. The block number is the number of the SMB3 pipe in BlockTool. The Map16 number is the number of the Map16 block in Lunar Magic that you want to put the block in (in decimal, not hex).

Possibly because that post did not contain any explanation of the problem's solution whatsoever and would be useful to no one? |
