She said as the wound slowly began to heal from the inside out, which would take a little longer than the light wound she received earlier that has already fully healed. | Star: "Flash Step."
Star fast. Incredibly fast, it was like he slowed down time to reach that speed. He ran behind Xana and slashed at her back, this time aiming for a deep cut. The path that Star had taken no longer had grass and some of the tombstones had cuts into them from the rushing air. |

| Holy energy began to glow on Star's sword brightly. He slowly carved the seal around him and it began to glow white.
Star: "Light of eternity, shine! Seal of Light! Form!" The seal rose from the ground and into the air, acting as a mini-sun. Star: "What will you do when you can't hide?" |

| Well that was one way to clear the darkness and to get the half-breed to come out of hiding in the shadows. Which she was forced to appear and showed up on the edge of the graveyard towards the desolate town.
"Well I was going to get a game of hide and seek going but you ruined it." She said in a casual manner with a shrug. |

| Star just looked at Xana as the lightning over head split the sky again. He needed to find a real weakness that he could exploit. He knew he could put out bursts of speed and go faster than Xana, but that was harmful to his body. He just had to start with some old fashion distruction.
Star: "Unless you stand and fight, you'll just die running." Star stabbed his sword into the ground and lightning began to strike him continously. It burned the ground and started to sink the ground with it's rapidly growing force. |

| Xana couldn't help but laugh at what he said.
"Oh that's a good one. You had me going there as you think you could actually kill me." With her shadow portation cut short with the artificial sunlight clearing the darkness away, Xana simply just took flight as he couldn't do anything about her flying. She raised a brow and wondered why he would let the lightening strike him and not harm him. Probably resistant to electrical burns or something. |

| Star: "Again you hesitate to attack?"
A huge chain of lightning struck Star and he jumped into the air with his sword behind his back. Lightning struck the land endlessly, destroying the graveyard. For a second, time seemed to slow down as he brought his sword forward. Star: "Lightning Reign!" With the entire power of the storm behind him, Star released his most powerful lightning attack. Lightning shot from his blade in swarms of thousands. Star had channeled the entire storm into his blade and so it dispearsed, leaving nothing but the scarred land to show it had ever been there. |

| Xana did some fancy manuevers in the air to try and avoid as many bolts as she could. While heading straight for Star on a head on attack with her hands clenched into tight fists and ready to strike when in range with various punch combinations with an added kick here and there. Of course she could feel the searing pain the bolts of lightening caused her but she pushed it aside. | |||

Electricity exploded from Star when Xana got close, it stopped his attack, but the lightning was extremely focused. It would be just like getting struck by a lightning bolt from every direction. |

| Now the pain is getting to get to that point where she couldn't take it anymore. So she decended to the ground--more like fell--but still landed on the ground with a thud. The breath taken from the fall and gathering her bearings as she lay there. The sudden burst of his gathered lightening had caught her off gaurd but she really needed a new plan of attacking. Yet Xana was still alive from all the volts surging through her body. It would take a lot more than that to stop her.
"So what I'm still getting a feel for the way that you fight. I have never faced someone like you before." She said while getting to her feet and stretched her wings out. |

| Star: "War hardens humans, we become stronger and more powerful the more we fight, and unlike demons and other creatures, we face constant challenges, always just a mistake away from death."
Star leaned against a tombstone. Being human was a great strength, but it also had it's downsides. Pain, slow healing, always a price to pay for doing anything. He had pleanty of energy and if his body was stronger, he'd never be able to be beaten, but a simple mistake could kill him. A single punch could send a rib into his lung or crush his sternum. If he wasn't careful, even a lowly demon could ambush him and kill him before he could do anything. |

| "Trust me it's not so keen on being half demon or full. Sure the quirks of having certain abilities that humans don't have is totally awesome! Sometimes it's not worth it though." She said with a light shrug. Her uncontrolable healing working but was never fast with major wounds and the like. Small stuff healed quicker which was nice. She dashed forward at Star with her wings pinned against her back and right fist raised to strike when she got in range. Once in range she brought her right fist down; aiming at his lower jaw. Along with that Xana brought up her knee to dig into his mid-section. | |||

| Star: "Heh... I never said humans were weak..."
Star waited for Xana to swing at his jaw when he actually moved. He twisted his sword and blocked the punch with the flat of his blade. He didn't seem to be aware of the knee until he hit his stomach and made him double over. He stayed on his feet though and smashed his head against Xana's. As soon as he did, he tried to slash Xana with the range he was bound to get. |

| Star was tripped, but he flipped and landed on a hand and spun, swinging his sword in a circle around him, cutting all the tombstones around in half. He then pushed himself off the ground, still spinning, and flipped up right. | |||

| Xana quickly stood up and back flipped into the air, spreading her wings and hovered a good two stories in the air.
"You do know that the dead people are probably pissed that you destroyed their tombstones, right? Just wanted to clear you up on that." |

Star flash stepped behind Xana and brought his sword down from over head. He felt his heart start to beat faster and his breathing change for a second. The G-Force from doing that was incredibly damaging. |

| Star was ready this time though and he brought his knee up in defence. Their knees collided and Star jumped back before he lost his balance.
Star: "The sun will be up soon." Star looked towards the horizen. If he could live until the sun came up, he would have an advantage. Star changed his stance into a stance that looked like it had no strong point. It wasn't meant for attack and it lacked any form of defence, but Star was confident. |
