Nellie McKay - Sari
Another rap song with clever, intelligent lyrics and definite attitude. ... and then you're like hey, yay what'd you say? I can just sing my troubles away? but then you're fucked 'cause you gotta make a buck and the whole world sucks and you're like a lame duck that's lyin' dyin' tryin' to sell out but there's no one buyin' and there's all this doubt and you can preen and dream and scream and shout but your life's affliction is the fiction of Faust The last couplet really is nifty. Faust. Rap. It doesn't get any better than that, really. |

OMG gotta do it fast
Confessions - Slipknot Off of their MFKR album, before Slipknot was Slipknot. A nice song, it's slow and calm actually but features a beautiful solo. Only Anders voice sucked on this badly, Corey's would work better. |

I've recently gotten in the OC and downloaded the theme song. So right now I'm listening to Phantom Planet - California.
I have to say, when you play the song a few times over and over, the leads voice starts to get really irriating |

Steppin' Stone - Black Label Society
Possibly my favorite off of his hangover music album. It's mostly acoustic stuff, but he does solos with his trusted electric The song is awesome, it opens up with a slowly fading in guitar BOOM, then the beat kicks in an oddly enough reminds me of the wild west, then the song just continues on perfectly. The lyrics basically talk about making a mistake when you should have known stuff was gonna get fucked up, something I've done a lot of so the song really touches me. 100/10 |

Lufia II Soundtrack, in midi form. From this website.
It actually sounds very close to how it does in the SNES game, which is awesome. I really love the soundtrack to this game. |

Prophecies of Loki - Adagio
OMFG! They are fast, not just guitars but keyboards are fscking crazy. Go and download it and listen for yourself, link here The song is instrumental, no vocals, but it reminds me of like classical greek (like some of their other stuff) but with some metal mixed in... I like it. Listen for youself (edited by Krusty Toenail on 03-10-06 10:35 PM) |

Four Tet - She moves she moves
If you like Moby or Aphex Twin, you'll like Four Tet. This tune is soft but has a fairly energetic rhythm to it. A little bit of asian string instruments were used in this. |

Blackened Waters - Black Label Society
Really good song. The song itself is well done, the electric guitars aren't screaming like many of his other songs but rather provide a nice soft hum during the evrses but go into mild distortion to drive the chorus, then of course he does one of his solos Right now I'm learning this song, I can do everythign but the solo... wish me luck with that, cause Zakk is a really good player. |

Artist: Rakim & Ken-Y
Album: Masterpiece Song: Down Spanish duo of reggaeton. One sings/raps, the other raps. Album came out on Feb 14 and since then, it has been in every single car/vespa/jeep/things with wheels everywhere. The album is pretty good, a romantic concept. The song is good because the words and lyrics and clearly understandable and I can relate to them in a way. Not my favorite song off their album but the way Ken-Y sings/raps makes it worth a listen. |

Spastic Society - The Network
A joke band that Green Day formed for kicks. They never show their faces or reveal their names, but just by listening you know it's Billie Joe singing. They're an entertaining band, the songs are fun, I like it. |

Song: A-RA-SHI Yeah. The song is named after the band. Its a Japanese group and the song is actualy annoying as hell. But I can't get it out of my head and have been listening to it for two days straight. Yeah, I probably do need help. |

DJ Tiesto - In Concert Gelredome
It's one of his concerts. 25,000 people, you can hear them screaming in the background throught the song. Three files: 132:59, 103:37, 49:35. They link together seamlessly which makes it seem like I'm listening to a 4 and a half hour song, all of it kickass techno and dance. XD *goes back to grovving and dancing around his basement* |

np: The Breakfast Club: "Right On Track"
Euwwwwwwwww. Their big claim to fame? A certain Madonna Louise Ciccone used to play drums for them. She split around 1980, but they released their first and only album about five years later. Typical mid-80's white-boy pop-funk, along with the absolutely wretched video to go along with it. (Yes, it gets occasional airplay on VH1 Classic.) It's catchy, if not insanely dated, but they went on to do not a whole lot of, well, nothing. |

I don't know the correct title and name of the song/band, so I will just put the whole thing down.
Broken - Seether feat. Amy Lee - The Punisher Pretty cool song, isn't the lead singer from Nickleback the dude who sings this one with Amy Lee? |

Originally posted by Dudette (giggle) I have a hard time telling them apart. It's actually the lead singer from Seether singing with the rest of Seether, as well as Amy Lee, who, for this song, is working with Seether. Sadly, there's no way to tie that crap to Nickelback. (sigh) np: Hybrid: "Finished Symphony" OMG my symphonic progressive trance is pastede on yay. It's actually a really good pairing, especially in the execution. Hybrid got together with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra for this, with a nicely arranged part that really doesn't sound like any classical piece you've heard. And not because of the breaks and other typical trance trappings, but because of the arrangement. Sure, it still sounds like progressive trance circa 2000-2001, but it's quite good. |

"Taking Retards To The Zoo" by The Dead Milkmen.
I loved this band for a little while, then forgot about them when I bought some Thin Lizzy and got heavily addicted to the Lizzy, but now I'm listening to a lot of crazy satirical rock. The Milkmen are not for the politically correct, but if you have a twisted and cynical sense of humor, you might appreciate them. |
