I think it's one texture repeated when you zoom out largely because...Mars just isn't really all that interesting, and that may in fact be the whole planet shown.

All we WERE is a large tub of iron. There ARE man-made things you can see from space (NOT just the Great Wall, as has been claimed), and the oceans and clouds make Earth more interesting to see. Lack of atmosphere and water really hurts Mars in that sense.

So... if Mars is out of skittles, does that mean Mars was made by Mars candy company?

A map of Mars... (I smell April Fools Day...) Very random, even for Google. I think this will cause more problembs on the net, than make it more interesting... People will be like, "I saw a Martian! right there!" and, "$* YOU IDIOT!" about the last one. I think this is bad, VERY bad...

...Long as in big, or like.. far away?
Would be cool if we could have a telescope to see the rover we supposedly have on mars. But that can't happen. ='( ...Then we could also once and for all prove whether or not America went to the moon. Someone make that telescope. |

I had heard about that, but I have yet to see any or hear anything from the Japanese. I don't know when they planned on going, either. |
