I mean, 3D aint something that always makes a game better. I mean, tou can't say SM64 was better than SMB3 or SMW. right?

Sonic Rush does look very nice indeed. Alot Better than Shadow the Hedgehog in my personal opinion.

This may be a bitt off-topic, but I have to say that I always thought 3D mario was on equal standing with 2D. Maybe a little better, but certainly not worse. On the other hand, the 3D Metroid games drove me crazy.

Anyways. I haven't heard much of Sonic Rush, but I say 2D or 3D, I don't really care. It's gameplay that counts.

Okay, I'm a little late to the party, but I would say Mario 64 was indeed better than SMB3 and SMW. SMB3 I just didn't really like; really, it has far too many instances of poor level design. The items were really the only things it had going for it. SMW was better, but too easy.
