I have a question concerning my iPod's audio output. I tried to hook up the iPod to an amplifier in place of the headphones. It plays music fine, but since it has stereo output, only one side is heard. How can I change my iPod settings to mono audio output?

Though I don't have one, I'm guessing iPods don't have a mono/stereo setting, since the vast majority of people use stereo headphones with it. You can always buy a cheap stereo/mono adaptor from Radio Shack if that's the case.

Or you can re-encode your audio files as mono-only.

Your can't change the stereo/mono in the retail apple OS, but if you install rockbox you can. http://www.rockbox.org/ |
