I can't sign on aim. I need help. I don't think aol has to do with something because aol internet doesn't work. My name and password are always saved and it automaticaly logs on. There is a problem here. Did anybody else had the same problem.

It works fine for me. Must be a problem on your side. What type of error are you getting when you attempt to sign on?

Occasionally there may be a local problem with the AIM server. If you have another screen name, try signing on with that. If the problem persists, wait a few hours and try again.

You could always make another one and see if that (screen name) works. I heard that the error you described sometimes comes about as a result of trying to log into that account too often within a short timespan - whether the end result was success or failure.

I think I found out the problem that there may be a virus or the aim is damaged somehow. That may be it.

I believe the fact your using AIM is the problem...

like the other said, give it a some time and if it doesn't work, its probably your connection.

I think I found out now. Its aim triton. I'm using the original aim and it signed on. Aim triton is probably damaged or has a virus in it, but I will just use the original aim.

That's funny because Triton is the first AIM I've ever used in which every feature actually works through the firewall.

He might not have it configured properly, or AOL could have changed the protocol or some such and released a new AIM such that it no longer works.
