And on this rather small anniversary, I've taken up most of the past few hours for some reason reading threads on the old board. Wow, just wow, things change, but the craziness is eternal.
The question in my mind is whether it would be fair for me to post a thread for 20,000 posts, including the 19568 on the old boards. I think it would probably be pushing it. |

The world began in fire, with explosions and the like on the surface...
...and so too shall it end. I just hope that's a long time from now |

There's no escaping that fate now, we've put a hole in the ozone.
The sun will kill us all. |

Well, the hole in the ozone really isn't quite as much of a problem as it's made out to be, really. And it can replenish naturally as well, given not too much of a strain. The sun was bound to kill us someday anyway, the question is just whether it's sooner or later. | |||

I've heard differently. My science teacher told my class that the hole in the ozone was too large to be reversed, and now the effort is to find a way to deal with it rather than finding a way to fix it.
But this is the same teacher that told me the sky was blue because of the ocean's reflexion... so if I'm wrong again, I wouldn't be surprised! |

Bill and I have a bad, bad history.
Bad. And as Thoughtless just said in AIM, Magic School Bus > Bill Nye. |

Magic School Bus. I remember that show. Now that I look back on it though, they were clearly implanting Jewish propaganda in there - both Liminal and Subliminal. An example of the latter was in the chemistry episode, where the kids have a more terrified-than-normal reaction to being in a dangerous situation. They were put in the oven while inside a cake. Bill Nye worked on something that went on Mars, invented a type of ballet shoe, and hosted a show with such inventive theme song lyrics as:
"Bill Nye the Science Guy Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill Nye the Science Guy" That means he's great. Originally posted by The Cat Burglar Wow. |
