http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=B13-Parkour-bizarsite (in case it needs explaining: it's along the same lines as the first video, but the guy in it is actually the 'inventor' of the sport so he's pretty freaking good) (edited by Jagori on 11-24-05 02:13 AM) (edited by Jagori on 11-24-05 05:49 PM) |

This "urban ninjaing" began in England, where it is called yamikaze or street running (the latter being the more popular term in America). You'd be amazed what the human body can withstand. In 1996 when I first played Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I determined to jump off the first-story roof of my house. Navi had me convinced that I could "reduce damage by holding forward on the control stick and rolling on impact." It was actually surprisingly easy, I think we humans have some sort of instinctive ability to pull off these monkey-like feats of agility and grace. Just like we mangae to lift cars off the ground to save our children in dire circumstances, if you fling yourself off a building, instinct and adrenaline kicks in to save you.
Of course, a limber body and practice helps as well, but cool people don't try, they do. |

Regarding the first movie:
Cool LOL. Although I will also have to agree that the end stunk. (edited by Andrew on 12-24-05 08:59 PM) |

The video is kick ass though the ending was mehish at best.
Of course I could try to do something from that video but I got a back pain just by watching it. |
