| Oh here it is, I thought my thread was deleted..
I'm using a file called "Secret of Evermore (U) [!].smc", file size is 3 145 728. I got it in a package called "SNES Roms [11322] [FULL SET] [09-07-2005]" And I patched it with LIPS, then something else just called IPS I think... Tried not changing file names, changing both to the patch name, and then both to the rom name but it won't work :/ I remember being really disappointed when I bought this years ago thinking I could play it with a friend of mine, so this would be great to try out. |

| That file size tells me your ROM doesn't have a header. Most patches require one, so get SnesTool (SNESTL12.ZIP) from Zophar or elsewhere, and add it. Straight from the patch Readme: "Note that this patch is only intended for use on the US Evermore ROM with a header." (edited by Mediocre Ibex? on 11-24-05 06:43 PM) |
