After giving some thought, I thought I would give riddles that are so... Ehhh.
Riddle #1: What game does this riddle come from. I have a face like a tree, skin like the sea, a beast I be, though verman scare me. (Four Points) Riddle #2: What is the meaning of life? (Two Points) Riddle #3: What can go up so high that it will become zero? (Two Points) Riddle #4: What is ALALLL? (Two Points) Riddle #5: Take thirty, divide it by one-half, add four, and cube-root it. What do you get? (Don't round the answer, it must be an exact value) (Two Points) Riddle #6: Don't give the answer, give the question. "What is the question?" Answer the question without answering the answer. (six points) Hint's cut the value in half. I will give a hint after n misses, where n is the point value of the riddle. And no, I didn't think of these riddles after smokin' sum erb... (slurrs to the enter button) EDIT: I doubled the point value of everything to get rid of the half point stuff. 2. You dick! Under what location can you have such an unarbitrary answer? 5.*4* NSNick Most people would go 30/2=15; 15+4=19, which would suck to cube root. But it is 30/(1/2)=30x2=60; 60+4=64, which is easily cube rooted. Riddle #1: What game does this riddle come from. I have a face like a tree, skin like the sea, a beast I be, though verman scare me. #2: *n. pl. lives (lvz)*
I know that was a bit of a stupid answer, but I did think of these riddles at 2 in the morning. #3: *-1* Pretty much, a negative numer. Riddle #1: What game does this riddle come from. DON'T ANSWER IT! (ANSWER=DEATH) I have a face like a tree, skin like the sea, a beast I be, though verman scare me. (Two Points) Riddle #6: Don't give the answer, give the question. "What is the question?" Answer the question without answering the answer. (Six Points) Riddle #7: What's more powerful than God, more evil than the devil. Poor people have it, rich people don't. ...Is #1 from MediEvil? I thought the answer was an elephant...
#8 is flawed. There are only two numbers that work, like SH morbidly pointed out. I think people don't understand quite what you're asking in #6. I sure as hell don't. |

No, number 8 works (unless I'm reading it wrong):
Originally posted by spel werdz rite, bold added for emphasis-1 + 0 + 1 = 0 -1 * 0 * 1 = 0 There are technically an infinite number of answers to it. (-2, 0, and 2; -3, 0, and 3; ...) (Of course, I could be reading too much into the riddle, but if so, oh well--I'm just wrong.) --Kamek77 |

1. *Medieval*
I remember there were othes, but I couldn't remember the other riddles. 6. *What* Because "What" is the question... 7. *Nothing* Someone told me this a few days ago, so I just stuck it in. Originally posted by NSNickI sholud have mentioned that they were natural numbers. 9. What gets wetter the more and more it dries? (2 Points) 10. The word "balloon" has two sets of to letters in a row (lloo). "Coffee" also has two sets sets of two letters in a row (ffee). Can you think of a word with three sets of two letters in a row? (6 Points) ~Now for some harder riddles~ 11. In a contest, four fruits (an apple, a banana, an orange, and a pear) have been placed in four closed boxes (one fruit per box). People may guess which fruit is in which box. 123 people participate in the contest. When the boxes are opened, it turns out that 43 people have guessed none of the fruits correctly, 39 people have guessed one fruit correctly, and 31 people have guessed two fruits correctly. (4 Points) 12. You have been accused of high treason. You are sentenced to death by the court-martial. You are allowed to make a final statement, after which he will be shot if the statement is false or hung if the statement is true. What can you say to not be hung nor shot.? (4 Points) 13. A long, long time ago, two Egyptian camel drivers were fighting for the hand of the daughter of the sheik of Agrabah. The sheik, who liked neither of these men to become the future husband of his daughter, came up with a clever plan: a race would determine who of the two men would be allowed to marry his daughter. And so the sheik organized a camel race. Both camel drivers had to travel from Cairo to Agrabah, and the one whose camel would arrive last in Agrabah, would be allowed to marry the sheik's daughter. Obviously this would be a very long trip. One of the camel drivers came with an excellent idea to help hury this trip along, what was it. (4 Points) 14. A kid in college is running low on money. He writes a letter to his parents requesting more money, but to prove he is learning something, he gave his parents this riddle to show just how much money he wants. SEND+MORE=MONEY Each letter has a number value, what must each letter equal to make the equation true. (4 Points) 15. At a local bar, three friends, Mr. Green, Mr. Red and Mr. Blue, were having a drink. One man was wearing a red suit; one a green suit; and the other a blue suit. "Have you noticed," said the man the blue suit, "that although our suits have colors corresponding to our names, not one of us is wearing a suit that matches our own names?" Mr. Red looked at the other two and said, "You're absolutely correct." What color suit is each man wearing? (4 Points) For the harder riddles, I will give a hint for every n/2 misses. Where n is the point value. Kario=6 Points NSNick=6 Points Koneko=2 Points Smallhacker=2 Points |
