If you enter sprite editing mode and press Insert, you can, as you probably know, add sprites manually. In the window, there's a grayed out field called Extensions, which can hold one byte. Is it possible to use it? If not, why is it there? I really need that field.

I think the extensions is for "enter manual objects."
Fu grayed it out because you can't extend sprites... I think. |

Add object manually and add sprites manually uses different dialogs, so why would he do that?

I wonder if extension is used for something like extra data for a sprite, sorta like Ludwig's fireballs, as they move when he fires them, but placed in a level by LM, they are stationary, and with torpedo teds... Placed without the launchers, they go in only one direction, not both. Is that what extension might be for? |
